Shadow and Maria Animatic
Project Overview
This is a fan made Sonic animatic that is in early stages and will eventually be turned into an animation. I'm a high school senior who likes to create animatics, write stories, etc. and would like to find an animator to eventually make my story come to life in a short animation that will be posted on YouTube if the animator desires. Otherwise, it is just a passion project. I was hoping to find voice talent and an animator to help me out with this based on the animatic. It would be really fun and make a dream come true for me.
Story: This is a story about Shadow and Maria from the Sonic franchise and their backstory and friendship before Maria's tragic death. More on story soon:

This is an unpaid, fan project that will first be an animatic then eventually an animation once completed. While this is mostly just a personal passion project, it may be posted on YouTube if the animator decides. If you don't wish to have your voice work on YouTube, don't audition for the roll.
This is Shadow the Hedgehog from the Sonic franchise. He is a popular character and has many different sounding voices. While his most common role is from example likes Shadow the Hedgehog 2005, Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings (find on YouTube). I'm also open to anyone who can mimic Shadow's voice in his most recent role in Sonic 3, Keanu Reeves. However, I'd much prefer the game version.
This is just a volunteer project with no monetary gain. If you get the role, I will keep in touch via email and send you your lines. You will record your lines into separate files and I will put the files together for the end result. Later on, your voice files will be given to the animator for them to work with. Voice files will not be kept after use.

Maria Robotnik is a 12 year old girl from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. She is great friends with Shadow and was unfortunately killed by G.U.N. agents 50 years in the past. She has a typical teen girl to young girl sound. (I'd use Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings on YouTube as a reference.)

I'm looking for an animator that can animate my story based on character designs, animatic, and story writing. I really love to draw but am a terrible animator, so that is why I'm looking for someone to help out. Here are my requirements:
1. At least has been a practicing animator for a year and beyond. 2d or 3d animation will work.
2. Must be able to contact through mostly email and any other form of media
3. Age 16+
4. Can animate based off my character designs, story, and voice lines.
5. Must know that this is a VOLUNTEER project, an no payments will be given. All animation credit will go to you if you decide to post on YouTube or any other platform. If you make money through that, I'm pumped! All I want is credit for story, animatic, character design, and thumbnail artist. (If you use 3d animation, I will leave you to character designs based on Sega's and you can make the thumbnail.) Character credit goes to Sega. This is a fan made passion project.
6. Has a YouTube channel and can show me previous works and animations (if any)
7. Be cooperative and fast (no specific deadline, but I hope a few months is all it takes. This video will probably be like 2 minutes or less.
8. Enjoy the process! If you end up not wanting to finish the project for an emergency or busy reason, please don't worry about it. Just don't ghost me and let me know.
