- ABOUT THE PROJECT -
What is Seiyuu Danshi?
Seiyuu Danshi is an 18+ BL / Yaoi Visual Novel / Dating sim, with voice acting as its main theme. In this game, you'll play as a newbie voice actor who strives for the Seiyuu Award. On his way to reach his goal, though, he will still live his daily life and YOU get to make the choices on how he should spend the days.

- RECORDING REQUIREMENTS -
1. Mp3. 44100hz, clean, pop/puff-free recording, with no background noise.
2. Each line provided you will record in a single file, with no more than three takes per line. If you would like to do separate voices, please save them in separate files. (i.e. one voice is soft and caring, so it’d be: “YourName_CharacterName_Take1”, then the second voice is gruff and more cold, so it’d be: “YourName_CharacterName_Take2”). You are free to do however many takes in one file, but different voices will need different files.
- HOW IS THE VOICE ACTOR CHOSEN? -
We will begin by screening out the submissions (audition lines) by 2 main criterias:
1. Technical side: whether the voice files meet the recording requirements or not
2. Character side: whether the voice suits the character or not.
Once we go through the first round of auditions, we will review what we have and pick a final set of people for callbacks. During this callback period, you might be asked to do more in-depth lines for these characters so we get to know more about your voice and other stuff.
Final cast will be determined by PUBLIC and BACKERS voting. More details about this will be disclosed after the screening phase has ended.
- JOB DESCRIPTION -
Payment for the role $200, includes job description as below:
1. Voicing the game
This one should be obvious. You will be voicing the main pursuablecharacters of Seiyuu Danshi, a R-18 Yaoi / Boys Love Dating sim. The game will have partial voice acting, in which only important scenesfeaturing the main guys will be voiced. (Think of Persona). We do nothave exact wordcount estimates, but as the game is quite story-centric,be prepared to voice for a lot of lines.
Notes: Please keep in mind that you WILL be voicing explicit sexual intercourse featuring 2 guys inside the game before applying.
2. Promotional material
We will require you to voice for future promotional trailers of SeiyuuDanshi, as well as voicing the Opening Video.
3. Singing OP song
Our OP Movie will have a song sung by 5 pursuable characters + MC’s voice actor. As such, we require those who apply to havedecent singing skill (better singing skil will be an aspect to consider)and is willing to sing the OP song.

About him:
A health-enthusiast and clean freak who's the new director of MC's VA agency. His routine includes nagging on MC everyday to become more dilligent in his job as he can see MC's potential to grow as a voice actor. His relationship with MC is like that of a mother and son.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a medium-low voice range, with an authoritative-but-not-harsh intonation. He can become strict like a father and affectionate like a mother, and we're looking for a voice actor who can portray all of that.
LINE 1: "I've taken a look at the agency's record and out of all voice actors that we manage, you are the one that haven't had any jobs in the past year."
(Reprimanding MC to be more diligent)
LINE 2: "Please wake up, we need to talk.
...
WAKE UP!"
(Waking MC up)
LINE 3: "Work hard again for the next jobs, okay?"
(Praising MC for his good work)
LINE 4: "*sigh* I guess it can't be helped"
(Accepting MC's silly requests)

Job: popular idol
About him:
The popular idol with two-faced personality. He's forced to have a herbivore-guy image by his company, even though his real self is the opposite of it. Even then, he sticks with his job because he loves music and singing.
What we are looking for:
He has a medium range of voice, not too high nor too low, but he tends to use a cuter / higher version of his voice when he's in his "idol-mode". For him, we want a voice actor that can portray both his "idol self" and his "real self". Singing ability is a plus.
LINE 1: "Good morning, everyone! I'm really touched that you guys take the time to attend this fansigning!"
(Greeting his fans in his fake idol image.)
LINE 2: "You will NOT tell about this to ANYONE. Spill about this and I will kill you."
(Threatening MC with a cute smile.)
LINE 3: "What? Are you that charmed with my naked body?"
(Teasing MC confidently.)
LINE 4: "They forced me to wear this lame clothing! It's a huge pain in the ass!"
(Complaining about his fake idol persona.)

Job: novelist
About him:
A novelist with a mysterious lifestyle who hires MC to become his "assistant" of some sort. He looks disinterested and emotionless all the time, even when he is actually interested. He likes to treat MC like his pet.
What we are looking for:
He has a medium low voice range as well, although not as low as Shiba. His voice is mostly expressionless and rather robotic, however there are times when he's showing a slight change in emotion, and we're looking for voice actors who can portray that slight change.
LINE 1: "If you don't have the keyword, you can't pass."
(Meeting MC for the first time)
LINE 2: "Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Come on these days."
(Telling MC about the detail of the part-time job)
LINE 3: "Nice job, Ponpon."
(Praising MC, but MC has no idea what he is being praised for)
LINE 4: "...Oh, that's right." "...Yes, this is good."
(Talking to himself, causing MC much confusion)

About him:
He's the epitome of masculinity, with his big build & ripped muscles. However, in contrast with his appearance, he's clumsy and helpless with direction. Inspite of that, he can be really dependable in rare occassions. He is really passionate about his work.
What we are looking for:
He has a deep and masculine voice and he is often cast for cool roles like villains or handsome love rivals. However, his real is far from "cool". We want voice actors who can portray his cheerful, easygoing, and clumsy self while still having his deep and cool voice.
LINE 1: "Hmmm... this is not the place... Anddd, this is not the place either..."
(Shiba is getting lost, as always)
LINE 2: "Whoa, you are right! It's right there!"
(Surprised when told the right direction)
LINE 3: "It has been such a long time since I come to this place! This is so exciting!"
(Excited when he sees the batting center)
LINE 4: "Well, one thing I know, I love doing this, and I want to keep doing this in the future!"
(Talking about his passion for his job)

About him:
His scary and expressionless face often causes people to avoid and misunderstand him. Deep inside, he has a really innocent personality. His soft and cute voice often gets him casted as prepubescent boys or kids' anime roles. He has a soft spot for MC as he is the only one who's all friendly with him.
What we are looking for:
He has a soft and angelic medium high voice. He often gets cast as pre-pubescent boys for his voice acting jobs. He's shy, easily misunderstood, and really kind inside. We want voice actors that can portray the cuteness of his voice and his innocent self.
LINE 1: "...Toru....It's Kazunori Toru."
(Introducing himself.)
LINE 2: "...I'm glad to meet you. You are really different from the others."
(Talking to MC when they are closer.)
LINE 3: "I-Is this smile okay...?"
(MC and Toru is practicing smiling. Toru asks MC what he thinks of it.)
LINE 4: "G-Genta-kun, we should stop this... W-What if he feels really sad about it...?"
(One of Toru's voice acting gig. He is playing as Nono, a meek friend of Genta-kun the bully, of the kids' anime Magical Ponpon.)
