Segagaga English
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Calling all voice actors with a passion for unique gaming experiences! We're assembling a talented cast to bring the quirky Dreamcast RPG, "Segagaga," to English-speaking audiences for the very first time.
Originally released exclusively in Japan, "Segagaga" is a one-of-a-kind game that blends traditional RPG elements, business simulation, and a satirical look at the gaming industry. This fan-dub project will faithfully recreate the game's unique dialogue and quirky humor in Unreal Engine 5 translated into English.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
In "Segagaga," players take on the roles of two teenagers tasked with a monumental mission: rescuing Sega from the brink of collapse! This fan-dub focuses on the game’s opening act, which takes place within Sega’s first development studio. Expect to encounter eccentric employees driven "feral" by overwork, engaging in RPG battles where you'll aim insults at them to help them regain their senses.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is July 31st, 2024. Selected voice actors will be contacted shortly after and provided with scripts and direction. Due to the project's timeframe, the deadline for completed voice lines is August 13th, 2024. Please only audition if you can commit to this timeframe.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This project is driven by a passion for bringing "Segagaga" to a wider audience. Clear communication and efficient workflows are essential to meet our goals.
