Search for the Awesome Stick (Object Show)
Project Overview
16 objects are trapped in a bizarre game run by an insane Bowler Hat and his colorful sidekick, Wacko Hammer. They have to go on a journey to find.... a really cool stick. That's it.
This is an project I feel very passionate about, and I would love to have you be a part of. But first, a few things.
I don't need super good mic quality, and in some cases it may be preferred, but I don't want too much background noise.
Multiple takes are not required, but It will improve your chances.
The voice headcanons I listed are just what I pictured their voice as. Feel free to do anything else.
You may have noticed the description saying that there are 16 objects, but you may notice there are only 14 object's listed(Melatonin doesn't count). And also, the host and assistant, Bowler Hat and Wacko Hammer, are also not listed. So, what's going on here? Well, if a role isn't listed, it means 1 of two things. Either the character doesn't talk (like Dummy) or I am voicing them (like Wacko Hammer and Bowler Hat).
More roles, like one off characters, singular episode villains, etc. will be added at some point.

I am unable to draw due to stupid brain and fat hands, but I can provide examples of what I want characters to look like. Submit an example of your art. You do not have to draw the characters, you can submit an example of your art previously, but drawing one of the characters will improve your chances. Having experience on previous object shows will also help your chances.

Rock is one of the contestants. She can be quite blunt and generally standoffish, only really enjoying the company of her alliance member, Katana. She works at a shipping job she hates, and wants to use the stick to get infinite money.
I picture her voice as Makio (Demon Slayer), but am open to other interpretations.

(Softer, somewhat sweet) Sigh...... ok, Katana. We'll do your plan.
(Exasperated) Are you like...... mentally disabled? Are you suffering from brain damage? I refuse to believe someone could be this stupid without something being wrong with their brain.
Straw is very quiet, and everyone is a bit intimidated by him because they don't really know anything about him. But he doesn't stay quiet because he's hiding some kind of secret, he does it because he has really really bad social anxiety. He plays into the cool mysterious persona because it means he doesn't have to talk to people, which means less chance of him embarrassing himself.

(Attempting to put on a cool voice) *deep breath* Alright guys, I think it's about time we take this Cinderblock meanie down.
Katana is an employee of the PopMart, a family mart run by Colonel Kernel and his wife, Butter. She's hard working, diligent, and has a very can-do attitude. She is a bit air-headed and can get very easily confused. But sometimes, she locks in, and becomes overly serious.
My for her normal voice, I picture Polly (Monster Prom). But for her locked in voice, I want it to be similar to how Okarun (Dandadan) shifts his voice when he goes into his yokai form.
also, If you could record some scooby doo falling noises in her voice at the end, that would certainly boost your chances.

Colonel Kernel is fought in WW2 and has over 64 confirmed killed and potentially even more. But that was the 1940's. Now, he's just an old grandpa who lives in a house with his third wife, Butter, and runs a simple shop with her. He was 5 children, 2 from his first marriage, one from his second, and one from his current marriage. He can be quite wise, if you can get him to focus and stop his old man rambling.
I don't have a specific voice in mind for him, have fun with it.

Cologne is a model for the French modeling company Nom de Marque, and he has certainly let the attention go to his head. He is a egomaniac, and reacts very harshly to any criticism.
His voice is a gayer version of Silver Spoon (Inanimate Insanity).

Elma is..... intense. She is very clingy, especially towards Can. Hyperactive, easily obsessed and tends to go on long rants about things she's obsessed over. She has killed someone for spoiling an ending of a show she liked, and will do it again.
I picture her voice as Gangle (The Amazing Digital Circus), specifically when she has her normal mask.

Can is an angry person. Just very pissed, all the time. Doctors diagnosed him with PAB (permanent angry brain) syndrome, and he is biologically wired to be angry. He's a reaction youtuber, and is entirely known for his unnecessarily angry rants.
I picture his voice as Kazuichi Soda (Dangaronpa 2: Goodbye Despair).

(Candid) I honestly don't get why Elma likes me so much. I kind of suck.
You know rat kings? When a bunch of rats get their tails tied together? That's kind of what Trash is, but with various discarded objects. They do not have gender, not because they are non-binary, but because they are literally a bunch of people.
Trash's voice will be a bunch of voices layered, so either I will choose multiple voice actors, or one voice actor who can do many different voices. But regardless, each voice should be vile, nasty, or sickly.

Pot is the nicest person in the game. She genuinely wants to be friends with everyone. Only problem? So many of these people hate her for no reason. She just keeps accidentally doing things that piss everyone off, and she doesn't know how to stop.

Cross is the pastor and owner of his own church. Not many people attend his sermons due to his lack of funding though. He is in his late 50's. He's very quiet and introspective, but very passionate about his faith.
