ScytedTV News: Season 2
Project Overview
ScytedTV Studios has decided to bring back ScytedTV News, the show we canceled in August of last year due to some problems we were facing at the time. The show covered topical news related to pop culture, gaming, anime, tv, movies, etc. We are bringing the show back to do the same thing, however we are paying everyone and we want to do it in a way that doesn't burn anyone out.
We are going to be working up to a 3 rotation cycle that will allow us to release 3 videos a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each rotation will have 1.5 weeks to prepare their video for their next slot. However, for now, we are going to start with 1 rotation, and slowly build up to 3 rotations as we reach staffing quotas to add an additional rotation.
Due to the way the system is going to work, we are going to have a certain amount of people in each role, and everyone will be able to pick up jobs that they are interested in. It will essentially be a bounty system where we list the jobs we need completed, the base price we pay for it, and the time we need it done by and it will be first-come first-serve with everyone only being able to have one job at a time.
Important Payment Note: Casting Call Club does not allow us to easily reflect the pay we will actually be giving to team members. We are going to be creating payment formulas that will reflect the amount of work you've done, rather than paying hourly. ScytedTV is a small indie studio that currently only has funding from the founder's full-time job. We are going to work with team members to make these formulas so that everyone is getting paid fairly for their work.
In order to be eligible to apply, you must be at least 18 years of age (or age of majority in your jurisdiction), have an active bank account, and have a valid government photo ID that Stripe can use to verify your identity. Stripe is our payment processor that sends funds directly to your bank account.

Checks the final scripts before they are ready to be recorded.

Edits the videos for Long-Form and Short-Form audiences.

Creates 3 thumbnails for each video that matches the 3 topics covered in each video, which will be put into YouTube's thumbnail tester to test the best thumbnail for each video.
