We’re seeking talented female voices to join our horror-themed YouTube channel and podcast team. We specialize in horror audio plays and narrations, and we’re looking for someone who can deliver a wide range of emotions and inflections—capturing everything from terror and foreboding to anguish, fury, and brooding intensity.

  1. Make sure that you are recording in a sound controlled environment such as your sound booth or a closet.
  2. Be sure to edit out your noise clicks and mouth sounds
  3. ONLY provide two reads of the same line and NO more!

Please deliver these lines using the direction provided for each.

Line 1 :  Deliver the line with a voice that conveys both fear and hesitation. The character is clearly torn between answering the phone and the overwhelming dread of what might happen if she does.

Line 2:Deliver the line with a slow, deliberate menace, as if savoring every word to unnerve the listener. Begin with a low, almost guttural tone, building intensity as you reach "oh, you’ll wish I’d stayed in the dark,” letting a hint of unhinged fury seep through. Add a chilling smile to your voice—it should sound like you're on the edge of control, teetering between calm and chaos.

Line 3: Channel raw desperation and panic in your voice. The yelling should be loud and strained, as if they’re using every ounce of strength to scream while struggling to breathe. The grunts and panting should feel visceral and real, with uneven gasps that reflect the physical effort of fighting back. Let the fear and urgency come through in the cracks of your voice.

  • I can’t… I can’t pick it up. What if it’s him? What if… what if he’s just sitting there, waiting to hear me breathe.

  • You think hiding will save you? I can smell your fear. It clings to you like a second skin... and when I find you, oh, you’ll wish I’d stayed in the dark.

  • Help! Someone, please! grunt Get off me—panting—HELP!

We are seeking a talented narrator to bring short horror stories to life for our YouTube channel and podcast. The ideal candidate can captivate an audience, skillfully guiding them through the story's emotions and atmosphere—conveying fear, suspense, and horror with depth and authenticity.

  • It started as a faint noise, barely audible above the hum of the old house. At first, Emma thought it was the pipes—this place was ancient, after all. But late at night, when the world was silent, she heard it clearly. A whisper. "Emma…" She froze the first time it said her name, clutching her blanket like a shield. The voice was soft, almost pleading, as if it were trapped somewhere deep inside the walls. She wanted to believe it was just her imagination. But then it began moving. One night, it was in the kitchen. The next, in the hallway outside her bedroom. And last night... it was behind her mirror. Now, as Emma sat in the dark, the house was deathly silent. Too silent. Her breath fogged the glass as she leaned closer to the mirror, trying to convince herself there was nothing there. And then it whispered again—louder this time, more insistent. "Emma… let me in." Her reflection smiled. Emma did not.
