The Story
Cosplay/er follows four groups of passionate Florida cosplayers on a road trip to St. Pete Comic Con, each car buzzing with anticipation for the weekend’s contests, panels, pageantry, and community. But beneath the excitement, something violent is unfolding around them during one of their favorite convention weekends of the year. 

The Film

Cosplay/er blends thriller-style slasher horror and dark wit against the backdrop of cosplay culture and fan conventions. The film, which will be shot in St. Peterburg, Florida, features a cast of unforgettable, crush-worthy characters whose stories unfold as the mystery deepens.

Cosplay/er is a community-driven film project with opportunities for fans, cosplayers, creators, and industry professionals to become part of the experience. Whether you’re interested in casting calls, acting auditions, cosplayer extras, film crew, or volunteering,  there are many ways to participate. And we’re also looking for the right director to join our growing team.
