Tales from the SCP Foundation Fan Audio Series

Project Overview

Hello Hello! This is my first project on here in a long long time, so please bear with me- This casting call is for an SCP Fan audio drama featuring original characters as well as ones from the canon. The audio series is formatted as one with a listener character that the speaker characters interact with. The first episode is completed and voiced (It's linked above) if you wanted an idea of what it will look/sound like, though I'm always trying to improve.

This Casting Call is mainly for episode 2 (for now). There may be roles I add down the line for future episodes, or I may make a new one in the future, so feel free to keep a look out for that down the line!

Just a few requirements:

  • We'll primarily communicate through discord or email (I'm not going to make a discord server or anything but I will use it for communications and script delivery and such)

  • You don't need to have a super professional mic or anything, but I would prefer decent audio quality, minimal background noise, etc.

  • While deadlines might not always be set in stone, I would like you to be able to get lines to me in a reasonable time frame! And if something comes up that prevents that, as long as you communicate with me that’s totally fine!

  • This project may contain themes like death, torture, and other darker themes, I just want to make you aware of that before you audition-

  • Casting is done! (For Now)

    Sorry it took me a little while to finish this- I hope yall know i had such a hard time with the casting for these roles thanks to you (I mean that as a compliment). It was genuinely hard to pick because there were so many good ones, and I hope yall are proud of yourselves even if you weren't picked. Because yall are very talented, and the next time I need more VA's I have a whole list of folks I know can do a good job. I still need to message some folks in regard to the Extras lines, and I will be keeping yall in mind for future reference. Seriously, yall should be very proud-

    Hey guys, I just wanted to say thank you all for auditioning! I’ll be making final decisions this weekend/next week- there’s so many good auditions it’s gonna take me a bit. Regardless of decisions made, you all should be proud of yourselves. And keep an eye out for future casting calls for this series and maybe some others as well!

  • Extending the deadline!

    Hey folks! First of all, thank you all SO so much I’ve loved listening to all your auditions and I hope y’all keep auditioning for stuff- secondly, as you’ve probably guessed from the title (and depending when you read this it might have already happened) but I’m planning on extending the deadline by a another week and then start making some decisions on things! Thank you all for your patience and for auditioning once again-

Valdez is a canon SCP character, not much is known about him but he’s mentioned in SCP 2241’s file. He starts off as a smaller role, but is one of the antagonists in the story. I'd probably put him in his late 20's/early 30's, and any accent is welcome! This role may require yelling and swearing, just as a precaution!

SCP 2241, a 7 year old boy who loves superheroes and has anomalous powers of his own and wants to be a hero. Valdez has convinced him that The Foundation is like the Avengers, meant to help him hone his powers. He's endeared himself to Dr. Nox, the main researcher on his case (at least for now-) and is usually a very energetic. A little bit like Anya from SpyxFamily (Note: There is some swearing for this role, but it's one time and he's parroting words from one of the adults)

  • (A seven year old dramatically re-enacting a scene from a comic) And that’s when he swoops in like POW POW! And the bad guys are like “aaaaa noooo!” and they all get defeated! Hero wins!

  • (Sounding like he's about to cry, traumatized) I... I did a bad thing... I didn't want to, but-

An MTF Agent, and the head of his little squad. Banters with Dr. Nox, one of the main characters, who he has a bit of history with when she was new to the foundation. He's a bit of a hardass, and strictly follows the Foundations protocols, but he has his soft moments too. I'd put him around his late 20s
