School Bus Bully (Skit for a Song)
Project Overview
This casting call is for a short skit that will be in a song from my upcoming music project, "Anubis." The song is called "Window Seat" and serves as the intro to the underlying story of the album: my growth as a person and especially as an artist.
The skit is a play on real, past events where I would ride the bus home from school, singing quietly to myself, blocking out the people around me. I was constantly bullied, and one person specifically would always put the pressure on me and start the bullying, eventually getting everyone involved. That's what's happening in this skit. I will need one person to portray the bully and others to record themselves laughing at me.
This part of the song will be uploaded as an audition from me, down below.
Requirements:
- NO background noise
- Decent quality microphone recording (do not record with your laptop mic, phone, or tablet)
- Timing; has to fit in this section of the song perfectly
- Quality acting; do your BEST
Keep a lookout for similar casting calls I may put up! I have more skits for other songs that need to be done, in the future.
Upon release, I will try to set it up so that everyone cast will receive a percentage of royalties from the song.

You'll portray a younger version of me, getting bullied on the school bus by kids after trying to just be to himself and enjoying his music.
I'll post a clip of me speaking as an audition, so you know what my voice sounds like.
"No... I was just humming a song." *kind of shy/nervous from being put on the spot, but also with a little bit of attitude/annoyance*

The bully on the bus was a gay, black kid, always trying to listen in on me, just to start something. He was really open about his sexuality and even had that stereotypical way of talking and voice that some gay dudes have.
(You don't have to portray the character perfectly as long as your acting is good.)
Feel free to change the lines up a little bit if it feels more comfortable for you. Just don't stray too far from what I already have written.
"Is that you I hear over there singing??"
"Hey, everybody, Brandon’s about to sing for us! *laughs*"
*disgusted by my singing* "Oh no, boy, you need to stop!" "Unh-uh, don’t be doing that no more."

After the bully brought attention to me, I showed off my singing out loud, but the bully stopped me when I barely had even started, and he began making fun of me. The other kids on the bus that were around all laughed at me too, as he made fun of me.
For this role, I won't be casting one specific person. For the audition, just submit a recording of you laughing at someone, as if making fun of them. I will contact the people I choose to use in the project, so be prepared for a PM, asking how you'd like to be credited.
