Project Overview
Sasha’s is an upcoming Visual audio drama.
Sypnopsis:
Sasha Quail was a former soldier in the Wesworth-Aldeva war. Three years serving left him with half his teen years taken from him, PTSD, and a dead father. When he returned to his hometown of Wildegrove, he took over his father’s Tavern, The Quail’s Feather. Everyone in town has just taken to calling it Sasha’s, and have welcomed the new management mostly without hesitation. He’s even managed to get himself a few regulars who have got his back no matter what.
Of course, things rarely settle in so simply. Sasha’s life is put in a disarray when the prince and princess visit their humble town. After exchanging in sone unpleasant conversation with the princess, he talks to Prince Mars about whether or not optimism is the best policy. Shortly after, there’s a darkling attack that leaves the prince reeling. The incident makes Mars decide that he needs to learn more about the world and he convinces the king to let him stay in town, and gets a job working with Sasha at the tavern. Sasha doesn’t see any harm in it. Besides, it’s nice to have some extra help. It’ll be easier to focus on that other than the fact that darklings were supposed to be extinct.

Sasha Quail is a 23 year old half Wolfblood and a former soilder. He suffers from PTSD. He’s been running the tavern since he was 19 and is very close with his regulars. He’s got a fairly pessimistic outlook on life and is very grounded in reality. Certain loud noises set him off. He is a kind and gentle person and always tries to do the right thing. He and Mars will eventually get together.
He has a calm, gentle voice that’s medium pitched.
(in shock) Oh my god, I just kissed the prince. (Kind of delighted) Oh my god. (Worried) Oh my god.
(Gently) Look, you’re a nice guy. Lemme give you some advice. (Firmly) Life’s not a fairytale.
(Panicking, trying to calm down, teary) I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I just.... I haven’t even held a sword since the war. Holding it again just brought back some memories. I won’t...I won’t bore you with the details. (Laughs sadly) God. I’m a mess.
Prince Mars is the youngest prince of Wurweth. He’s 21 and a human. He’s very naive and has a lot to learn about how the world works. After a talk with Sasha, he decides to stay in Wildegrove and begins working for Sasha at the tavern. He’s kind, quiet and gentle. He’s also very clever, but is awful with a sword.
He has a soft, gentle voice that has a medium pitch.
(sighs) You we’re right though. I do have much to learn about how the world works.
(Shushing Sasha) It’s okay. It’s okay. You have every right. Just breathe. I’m right here. (Softly) You went through hell and more. You fought for our land. Sasha, you have every right to be a bit of a mess.
(Giggles, lovestruck) I just got kissed.
Imogen is the only daughter of a famed archer from Faymaw. She came to Wildegrove to learn from Eirian as her apprentice. When she’s not training, she’s working with Sasha at the tavern. She’s headstrong and impulsive. She’s a human, and is 20 years old.
She has a medium ranged, enthusiastic voice.
(calling from the other room) Coming right up!
(Groans in dissapointmemt) Come on, Eirian! I thought we had a lesson today!
(Stubbornly) You know what really show em? You show em a few sword moves, you know? Give them the old one-two!
Viola is a young musician. Her father is a drunk that often forgets her at the tavern. She adores Sasha and loves hearing the stories that he tells. She repays Sasha in assisting him with cleaning and providing music on some occasions. She’s very quiet and sweet. She’s a Wolfblood, which is rare in town, and 17.
She has a soft voice that’s high pitched.
(Dejected) Hi Sasha.
(Quietly)I think he forgot about me. Again. For the fourth time this week.
(Deadpan) What a bitch.
Eirian is a former soldier from the town of Aurawell, in Naistone. She’s a red monster, meaning that she’s a warrior. She’s an old friend of Sasha and acts as his older sister. She’s a very motherly person, which means that she’s protective of her chosen family. She’s tough as nails and very intimidating when she wants to be. She’s 28.
She has a calm voice, which a medium pitch.
(Laughs) Good ol’ Sash! Always thinking of others!
(In disgust) That princess ought to learn some manners. A man of your stature should be treated with respect.
(Loudly) We got him! Sasha, you just stay here and protect the royals. Imogen! Bert! Hurry! It’s a big one!
Amaryllis is a former soilder and an old friend of Sasha’s. She’s half birdfolk. She’s very humble and still believes in justice for all. Since the war ended, She’s travelled through all the lands with her boyfriend, Eos. She’s still a skilled warrior and just wants the best for Sasha. She’s 23.
Her voice is calm and collected, with a medium pitch.
(joyfully, upon her arrival) Sasha Quail! My dear friend!
(Laughs) You know me Sash. I got the wanderlust as a young girl and never looked back.
(Hums in agreement) He’s cute. You guys make a good pair, Sasha.
Eos is a former soilder and an old friend of Sasha’s. He’s Half lich and is 24. He’s a professional bard and travels across the land with his girlfriend, Amaryllis. He’s a jokester that always tries to keep conversations light. Despite his playful personality, you can tell that he truly loves and cares for his friends.
Eos has a playful sounding voice, with a medium pitch.
(laughs) Hey man! You look more like death than I do! And I’m a lich!
(Hums) Ooh, living together, working together....looks like things are getting pretty serious.
(Sighs) Okay, now that it’s just us, I gotta ask. Have you been okay? Last time we left you, you weren’t in great shape, buddy.
Bert is a farmer that lives on the edge of town. He provides the town with the majority of their crops. He’s a father of 2 and comes in to check on Sasha since he was close with his dad before the war. He’s a gentle giant, and knows his way around a sword. He’s a father figure to Viola as well. He’s a 37 year old.
He has a low, kindly voice.
(Gently) Your dad forget you here again, Viola.
(Sighs) Kids these days. It’s only been 4 years since the war ended and it’s like they take their freedom for granted.
(Shushing) Sash, it’s okay! They’re just fireworks. It’s fine. We’re okay. It’s all okay. Youre
Woodrow is Mars’s older brother and heir to the throne. He enjoys combat and sword fighting. He’s the picture of what every prince could be. He is also courting the local florist, Marianne. He is kinder than his sister and more grounded than his brother. His biggest flaw is that he isn’t very smart, but he tries his best. He’s 28.
He has a medium to low pitched voice. His voice is calm and noble sounding.
(Laughs) Back! Back, you monstrous fiend!
(Worried) My sister was so cruel, though. I don’t want to put you through seeing her again if you don’t have to.
(Gently) Do you? Love him, I mean?
Marianne is a florist in Wildegrove. She’s 27 and is very sweet and kind. Secretly, she’s a half birdfolk. At the moment, she’s being courted by Prince Woodrow, true heir to the throne.
She has a very sweet sounding, high pitched voice.
(Pleasantly surprised) Oh! Woodrow! You’re here!
(Giggles) that certainly sounds nice.
(Quietly) Get down! Don’t let that thing see you!
Princess Melinda is Mars’s twin sister. She was born 4 minutes earlier than he was. She is very entitled and rude because she believes that she’s best suited to rule one day. She’s very nasty to ‘commoners’ and is disgusted that her brother has ‘become one of them.’ She puts on an innocent facade and she’s just used to getting her way all the time.
She’s got a very high, sweet sounding voice, kind of like a fairy.
(scoffs) Commoners. So pathetic.
(Annoyed) What, do you like the barkeep or something?
(Tsks) Sasha Quail? You’re that child soilder? I imagined you less...(chuckles) Well, lets just say I inagined less of you.
Diablo is a sly thief that’s one of Sasha’s regulars. Nobody knows his actual name. He’s got a lone wolf complex and is often doing reckless jobs. He goes to Sasha’s for his wounds to be healed and always comes back with a story. He’s 21.
He has a low, quiet voice, with a medium to high pitch.
(scoffs, annoyed) I wouldn’t be a thief if I wasn’t careful.
(Angrily) You know nothing of my life.
The Princess‘s body guard. He is used to announce her arrival and to send messages between Melinda and Mars.
He has a low voice.
(Announcing) Presenting, Princess Melinda of the region is Wurweth.
