Sam & Max (Cameo in "101 ways for Mario to Die: Reblooper'd")

Project Overview

CONTEXT: I'm mostly a SMG4-inspired animator. Now, I'm collaborating with many of my colleagues on a collab video in which we remake the classic SMG4 video "101 ways for Mario to die", which includes all 101 original scenes and 101 new scenes, created just for the collab, in which Mario takes revenge on SMG4 for the trouble he caused.

In this extra scene, we have Mario, who hired Sam & Max under Nintendo's name to make a surprise assault on SMG4, with the excuse that he committed copyright infringement. The audition lines are all part of the official script.

Sam is one of the two titular characters of the Sam & Max Franchise. He typically wears a grayish/blueish film noir-style suit, a hat, and a blue and black striped tie, and he also goes barefoot.
You can base your performance on either his portrayal by Bill Farmer, Harvey Atkin, or David Nowlin.

  • Holy Shigeru Miyamoto making sushi-flavoured spaghetti on a bullet train heading for the Not-So-Democratic Republic of Kong-o!

  • I can't believe I'm saying this but you got a point, Max. Let's do shenanigans so out of control that even the Kingdom of Heaven is gonna put a price on our heads. I'll have a laugh, you'll have a laugh, somebody will die.

  • Can't think of a reason not to.

Max is one of the two titular characters of the Sam & Max franchise.
Max is a 3-foot-tall, white-furred anthro "rabbity-thing". His appearance is generally cute and cuddly, but contrasted by his enormous, sharp-toothed grin, which remains plastered on his melon-like head at almost all times. He has big feet and long ears that almost constantly stay upright, except for the few moments in which he's genuinely sad, as well as a pair of glaring, beady eyes.
Base your performance on the one made by Robert Tinkler in the 90s animated series.

  • If you'd let ME drive, we could have done a better strike than you at the bowling party last week!

  • So we can finally hit the Italian fatso right in the colon and call it a day?

  • Aaaah, I love the sound of bones crashing so "exquisitely"... LET'S DO THAT ONE AGAIN!!!
