Sakamoto Days Abridged Fandub
Project Overview
Hey there, we are Seiyuu Shadows! A group of fledgling voice actors that like to produce fan dubs and skits and we're looking for some extra help to produce our first big project a Sakamoto Days abridged dub. This is an unpaid fan project for now that will be uploaded to youtube, but if we start getting monetized in the future that could change. Preferably please be at least 16+ years of age and have good mic quality when submitting. Multiple takes in AABBCC format are encouraged and above all else have fun! Discord is the preferred method of communication and Feel free to join our discord for updates. We respectfully ask that if picked please be serious about this and actually submit your lines. Ex hitman and Sakamoto's former student also known as Shin the clairvoyant. He is a psychic and can read minds. After failing to kill Sakamoto he joins him and his family. Shin is an honest, straightforward and collected young man and is usually composed and calm under pressure although susceptible to comedic fits of irritation. Like many he respects and looks up to Sakamoto almost akin to how the common man looks up to Lebron James. Really channel your inner glaze for this one!

but to be honest I'm not the biggest fan of the original so I'm open to different sounding voices for him.

The daughter of a triad family and tai chi/drunken fist practitioner, she works at the Sakamoto's shop after they save her from assassins. She's a cheerful, laid back, and kind person who cares a lot about protecting her families treasures after they passed. She considers the Sakamoto's her new family and would do anything for them although she often gets into arguments with shin.

Wife of Taro Sakamoto and mother of Hana Sakamoto. She is the reason Sakamoto quits his life as an assassin and settles down, showing him the better path of using his strength to protect life rather than take it. She is an extremely kind and down to earth person but is very adamant that she WILL file for divorce if Sakamoto returns to killing. She seems to be the only thing he fears.

The daughter of Taro and Aoi Sakamoto. Nothing crazy here just need to be able to do a child like voice.

One of a pair of cruel twin assassins. They are ruthless and have no empathy for their victims. For a fee they'll kill anyone with no questions asked. They take pleasure in killing their targets and will even bring the heads of their victims home to sketch them. Bacho's voice is more deep and gruff.

One of the dondenkai assassins that comes after Sakamoto. He's an apathetic guy who's all about vibes and his philosophy that the fear of death holds people back. He specializes in using poison weapons. His voice should be relaxed and smooth but also be ready to yell for fight scenes.

One of the dondenkai assassins and partner of boiled. She's a playful thrill seeker who appreciates seeing others use their full potential in combat. She often banters and teases those around her, including boiled although she's often startled when he raises his voice. Despite this she secretly admires him and finds his habits attractive. Her voice should carry a confident and sassy tone.

One of the dondenkai assassins and partner to Obiguro. He's a rough around the edges hard boiled kind of guy, however he still lives by a code. His target is the only life he takes other than that he wouldn't hurt a fly. He prioritizes being cool over all else but will occasionally get emotional and scold Obiguro. He holds a grudge against Sakamoto from their younger days stemming from a misunderstanding and sheds tears when Sakamoto doesn't remember him. He's an honorable man and should have a deep and hard boiled voice.

Shin's boss and also Sakamoto's former boss. He's the one who originally sends shin to take out Sakamoto as punishment for quitting. pretty minor role not looking for anything specific here so use whatever voice you'd think fits. A lot of yelling for this one.

is the main antagonist of the series. He is a serial killer seeking to overthrow the JAAA with a group of fellow assassins. Roughly around the same time Sakamoto was given his bounty, Uzuki slaughtered one-fourth of the assassin industry, leaving a large 'X' mark at the scene of his crimes written with the blood of his victims. Uzuki suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, a condition which developed as a way for Uzuki to deal with his trauma. This condition allows Uzuki to create multiple personas, changing his own characteristics to match those of a specific individual so be ready to do multiple voices. For now tho aim for a voice that carries a calm yet cold and sadistic demeanor.

is a major supporting character and an old friend of Sakamoto. He is first seen paying a visit to Sakamoto to inform him of his bounty and was revealed to be a member of the order. Nagumo's most notable traits are his laid-back attitude accompanied by his constant smile that seems impossible to wipe off his face. He also has an incredible talent for annoying those around him to the point of making them want him dead. Nagumo believes the key to killing is deception and he is a master at it able to copy other people's appearances in an instant. His voice should be upbeat and friendly but also show a sly and cunning undertone.
