Sachiiro no One Room Manga Dub

Project Overview

The highly anticipated manga dub series produced Bitter Dub Production and Kerubin Studios presents Sachiiro no One Room Season 2. We are excited to bring her story to life once again! 

We are looking for voice actors and actresses to portray characters in the season 2 series of Sachiiro no One Room and the film length after the end of the second season called "Sachiiro no One Room: The Story of Haru".

About Us
Bitter Dub Production is the literature division of Kerubin Pictures. The production focuses on manga and comic dubs alike. This group has produced various manga/comic dub projects including Shishunki Bitter Change and Lalin's Curse.

Synopsis
The girl and her kidnapper found a place to continue living with their happy life. However, the detectives are inching closer to finding out their whereabouts. The time to make a decision is approaching, escape before they find them, or to confront them head on.  


What we’re look for

  • Please watch the manga dub to get an idea of how the series are structured and how the VAs are voiced. 
  • Have a good microphone (Minimal to no background noise)
  • Able to portray the character’s emotions where applicable
  • Be able meet deadlines (One week Extension is available)
  • Must have Discord
  • Have fun!!

NOTE
If you did not get the part you've auditioned for, that's not a problem. There will be moments where you will be messaged to portray other characters if we believe your voice suit the character well. You will have the chance to accept or decline the offer.

    Thank you all for auditioning! Casting Call closes tonight. Due to the high volume of submissions, It would take at least 2 to 3 days to go through all the recordings. Those who are selected will be messaged on CCC. You will then have to confirm your role by the given deadline (3 days deadline). Matsubase Hijiri is a private detective in search of the kidnapper and the kidnapped girl. He is 26 years old but is short, so he tend to be mistaken as a child which seems to bother him a lot. Matsubase knew the girl has been abused by her parents at home, so he wants to find the kidnapper first before the police to ensure the safety of the girl. He is the protagonist of the series.

Ohta is the Guardian of Haru (Mister). He adopted him when he found Haru as a baby under the bridge. He took him in and raised him.

An old homeless man who is the leader of the camp where Ohta and Haru is staying.

BEFORE YOU AUDITION: This character uses vulgar language and also shows a brief scene that may be uncomfortable to others (tries to attempt molesting a kid for stealing his stuff, but stopped by Ohta). Just a caution before you audition. The scene is subtle and isn't showing it happening, he was stopped right before it happens.

We are currently looking for an editor for the film length manga dub, Sachiiro no One Room: The Story of Haru. 

You will be recruited before the audition deadline. We will immediately message you on CCC if you are the right candidate. This is to help prep the production early before the actual editing begins. 

Responsibilities:

◘ Help edit the assigned scenes for the manga dub
◘ Able to provide appropriate sound effects in required scenes (you have the creative control to decide what SFXs are used)
◘ Able to use Google Drive as the main source for sharing files.
◘  Be available at least 2 times a week on Discord


You will be credited for your contributions! Workload are not heavy at times as we will be distributing the work evenly depending on the amount of editor's availability. Schedule's are lenient and we are able to provide extension for a week maximum if needed. 

YOU MUST PROVIDE SAMPLE OF YOUR WORK WHEN YOU SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION. IT CAN BE ANYTHING FROM MANGA DUB YOU'VE EDITED, TO OTHER EDITING WORK YOU'VE DONE WITH RELATIONS TO MANGA.
