Project Overview

Hello there, my name is Jack, and I'm a uni student putting together a prototype Animatic 'Visual Novel' for a project at my uni named Rysist//the//World.
This is an UNPAID ROLE. 

I'm looking for a female VO to play one of the main characters named Mika.

YOU MUST OWN AN XLR MICROPHONE TO AUDITION.

SYNOPSIS:

An action, cyberpunk visual novel set in the year 2100 after the world has been invaded by an alien species known as the ‘Chrysallis’.
Deadly creatures that emit poison, heavily affecting humans and the Earth.

However, the Chrysallis came bearing their technological advancements, bringing their achievements to humans in exchange for co-existence.
In order to maintain peace and order, a new world government is created between humans and Chrysallis, and they create a ‘cure’ that helps humanity withstand their poison.
However, both the poison and the amount of energy needed to power everything drains the world at a rapid rate.

There are humans that are immune to losing themselves if they are poisoned without the cure ..
Dubbed ‘Rysistors’, these special humans are able to manipulate their fighting abilities.
Luke and Mika are two Rysistors who begin a resistance against the new world government in order to rid the world of the Chrysallis’ corruption.

Mika is your typical happy-go-lucky childhood friend of other main character Luke, she created a resistance alongside him in order to fight back against the Chrysallis.

Her Rysistor fighting type is an Assassin, she's very quick and loves taking care of her knives.

While normally she's always in a good mood, when she thinks about battle, her personality changes, she sounds a lot crazier and more maniacal. (think Yuno Gasai from Future Diary.)

  • 1. Hahaha! Luke, you’re the only person who would complain that their world is full of light! ((This is to be said in a higher pitch with a happy tone, beginning with a bubbly laugh.)

  • Of course I do! Get down there, take them all out and bask in our glory!! (Begin with a similar pitch and tone to the first line above, however slowly change into a more maniacal tone, maybe end the sentence with an ominous giggle. Do whatever you feel suits best.)

  • One more peep out of you, and I’ll put you down for good. (Serious tone, toned down pitch, really bring out the Yandere in her.)
