I recently started watching this classic Shounen anime from the late 90's, and noticed that it's the type of anime that works better in English (at least in my opinion), except, just like with most anime at the time, the English dub sucked. So I thought, why not make my own English dub? In the already existing English dub, pretty much everyone sounds completely emotionless, so try to put as much real emotion into your performance as possible.
I'm probably gonna rename the series Wanderer Kenshin, since rurouni literally means wanderer in Japanese. (Plus it's just easier to say)
I know most people would use something like Discord to communicate, but I haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet. So I'll just be using Messenger (Facebook) for now. I don't generally accept friend requests from people who's names look unfamiliar, or don't have any mutual friends, so make sure that I can tell It's you (even if it's subtle).
Your microphone needs to be at least the quality of a Blue Yeti, otherwise your out. I want this fandub to at least sound a bit professional. (Earphone mics can probably pass, if they're good)
Also, you should probably rewatch the first episode before auditioning (or just watch, if you haven't seen it before). You can watch it in Netflix, if you have it (or just some kind of pirating website, that's fine too). Obviously be sure to watch the Japanese version, and make sure you know the context of the lines you'll be reciting in your audition. Alright, I think that's everything.
(The deadline isn't really important, but try to get your audition done before it anyway.)
Kenshin is a very mysterious character. He's very calm, and very polite. He usually has a very relaxed sounding voice. However, he sort of has two separate voices for when he's serious, and when he's just being polite. The serious one obviously being noticeably deeper.

Kaoru is a young (16-17) dojo instructor. She's energetic, and stubborn. At the end of the day, she's quite happy, but not so much in this episode. In this episode she's more proud.
The Kamiya Kasshin Style was founded by my father. Our ideal was not to hurt people, but to unleash their potential. It's a sword that revitalizes people.
But... That murderer is claiming to practice the Kasshin Style... Battousai is tarnishing my father's ideals. I can't let him get away!

So basically, I need someone who can add in the English credits to the beginning and end of the episode. As well as a translation of all text on screen (at least the important text).
Although, if I can't find anyone, I can probably just do it myself.
