I started this project using AI voices, but wasn’t too thrilled with the outcome. So much for smart technology. Episode 2 is in production but I plan on refilming those episodes along with other chapters using human voices. This is round 2 of auditions and I am casting for episodes 4 - 6 as well as BTS crew.
Ascension: A Genshin Impact Isekai Fanfiction is a somewhat autobiographical fan fiction that takes place in the world of Genshin Impact. Kayla (me) has taken her own life and has awoken in Teyvat, where she has apparently been the Celestial Archon this whole time but has no memories of who she is. It's a reverse harem/adventure story with slice-of-life elements.
Trigger Warnings: Because this is somewhat autobiographical, there will be mentions of mental illness/suicide, disability, religon, and there will be some smut scenes. (All the roles below are SFW except for Diluc. The NSFW roles were filled in round 1)
How to audition:
You must be at least 18+ to participate

Your audio must have no outtakes or bloopers

(warmly) “Now, before you get too lost in your notes, let’s address that pain you mentioned.” (beat, instructing like a doctor) “These herbs should help ease your muscle aches. Brew them in hot water and drink it slowly. You’ll feel relief within an hour.”

Bio: A cheerful maid who works at the Angel Share Tavern. She is also a guest judge at Mondstadt’s Halloween Costume Contest.

(Laughs, casually) “That’s Kayla. She’s staying at the Angel’s Share." (beat, trying to calm her nervous friend down) "Relax, it’s just a costume contest. No need to be so nervous.”
Demographics: Little girl about 8 to 10 years old with moderate to high pitched voice yet always sounds dazed and confused

Bio: A zombie girl, who aids Baizhu in the pharmacy. She has bad memory.

Together, we can help you master the arts of warfare and harness the elemental energies that flow through Teyvat.” (beat, excitedly with urgency) “Time is of the essence, however. Chaos grows stronger by the day, and its malevolent influence spreads like a stain across the land. We cannot afford to waste a single moment in preparing you for the trials ahead.”
For this role, I'm looking for someone who can draw my self insert, Kayla. She will have a few poses, as I'm presenting this story like a visual novel. I'd like her drawn in an anime style, similar to Genshin Impact. Digital renders only.

The story isn't finished yet, and this is my second draft. As of right now, I don't have a beta reader and I need feedback on the story. This is a long form project as the WIP I have so far is 28 chapters.
For this role, you will be reading the second drafts starting with episode 4 and will meet with me via discord to address changes. To audition, send a sample of your writing.
