Project Overview
This project is a semi-scripted podcast that will be recorded live! We both will get in a call and record the whole episode live! I'll explain everything more in detail in the next sections!
What is this project?
It's a podcast of a strange town! The podcast will be mostly winged and the episodes will range from 10 minutes to 60 minutes, at most. Every episode will have a new guest, ready to talk about one strange happening in the town. You can completely wing it as much as you want or discuss more details before the recording.
Requirements
- Be able to record with little to no background noise
- Stay in character for as long as possible!
- Don't back out in the middle of the project!
- Please include your discord in your audition
Recording times
I live in the EEST timezone and I'm almost always free to record as long as you're willing to record! I can try and adjust my schedule to fit yours too! Now, I would really enjoy it if we could record the episode as soon as possible, so I could edit the episodes and post them on my youtube channel.
Plot
Your local recluse, Anette was told by her therapist to start a diary. That's when she decided to start a podcast, while still calling it a radio show. Is this paranoid nutcrack that can barely utter a sentence without stopping really insane and bringing a comedy podcast or is there some truth to her mumbling?
Join her and the many people who are like her on this podcast, as they talk about the strange happenings of the town, and trying to find a way to survive all of this.

Alex is one of the previous workers at Miss' Jones coffee shop. They came to talk on the show about their experience at their old work place and reveal a few secrets of the place, which ends up making them disappear after the podcast.

Allen is a bus driver, who drives not a day bus, but a night bus to a... school? They came to talk about this school and the strange rules that this bus driver has to follow every single day to arrive safely to their destination, that he can never remember in the end.

Benny is a trainer at the local gym, THAT DOESN'T EXIST! Benny talks about the strange job and how they simply can't remember anything that happens inside!

I know, it sounds crazy! Especially, when the gym doesn't exist.
I get paid every month, so I must be doing something, right?
I'm not even that athletic, but every single day, I wake up wearing sports wear, so I must be losing time..
Darleen works at the broken down cinema, that nobody ever goes to, but has never gone out of business. They tell their stories of all the people who come there, yet nobody sees the people come in or get out.

Connie is the worker of the local furniture factory. They came to tell the story of their strange bosses and the fact that all of their coworkers seem... less than alive!

I accidentally knocked someone down one day and they couldn't get up for the rest of the day, I thought I killed them, but they kept doing the movement of putting a box inside another box.
I would quit, but I need the money.

Rio is one of the bankers who survived the robbery and is coming to tell the story of the robbery that nobody remembers! Everyone calls Rio crazy, but are they really?

Gary is a tour guide and they came to talk about the time they had the misfortune to show around the local castle. They talk about ghosts and possible murderers hiding out in the castle!
I don't know if you believe in ghosts or not, I didn't either, but after that? I'm an avid believer.
To this day, I will not forget the fear I felt. Or the embarrassment of wetting myself.

Gloria is one of the serial killer lookalikes! Not the actual serial killer, nope! Not at all! Gloria came to be interviewed about how hard it is to be a lookalike of a famous serial killer!

Helen is a post office worker, who came to tell everyone about letters that are coming from towns that don't exist, and how every letter without a return address ends up disappearing the next day.

Harper is a teacher at the mysterious night school! They came to tell everyone that everything is completely fine and that no actual night school for children exists!

Anette managed to get Dr. Cassidy on board to try and explain what is going on with the new doctors, as they are the only doctor who survived the nightly doctor change!
Those aren't doctors.
