Rev. School is an online female idol group that combines the mentality of 2000s-2010s net idols with the activity of virtual idol groups. For us, this means that you must have a combination of both drive and talent as well as ability to occasionally participate in variety material in the same way virtual idol groups do. The group's primary goal is to create a new environment for virtual and overseas idols to flourish. Due to the commitment, all members must be 18 or older by December of 2021.
Rev. School gets it's name from the word "Revolution," a fundamental change in paradigm, and represents the ever changing nature of both idols as well as the group. We take inspiration from groups such as AKB48, Rev. from DVL, and Idol College.
The group’s primary activities consist of releasing original music in addition to covers. As members join, they will become trainees and will record English and Japanese song covers. These covers and the member’s proactiveness during this period will determine whether or not they are promoted to a full member and receive the chance to debut in an original single. The main group may also complete covers from time to time.
Please note: Unless the unit brings in considerable amounts of revenue, the members will not be paid. All funds earned from official releases will be recycled and used to further the group’s activities (including but not limited to music production, artwork, video content, and variety material).
