Project Overview
As Wizards of the Coast continues to release their weekly Magic Story updates, it is our goal on the Voice of All podcast to bring these stories to life through audio.
Our story takes a brief pause as we dive into Teferi's past and see what he's been up to since we last saw him. You can check out this week's story here:

Kwende is descended from followers of Mageta the Lion, a hero of the vanished land of Zhalfir. Kwende idolizes the famous general, who is know for turning the tide in a war against Keldon invaders. He strives to live a life worth of songs that might be sung alongside the tales of Mageta's deeds. In this story, his idolotry turns to reckless vengeance as he seeks to punish who he perceives to be Mageta's killer.
"By magic. Or at least that's what the caravan's physician believes." [grave and skeptical]
"Neither was I, but it seemed to explain . . . this." [gesturing to a dead body, slightly perplexed, slightly disgusted]
"It was the only way to get to you. Traitor! destroyer!" [furious. on the warpath]
The leader of a merchant caravan. Smart, brave, and just, with a quick wit. In the future she will become Teferi's wife, but here in this story she begins cautious and distrustful, suspecting him of murder.
"Is that all you've got to say?" [slightly annoyed]
"You knew he would save them? But you still want to kill him." [incredulous]
"Then kill me. That's the only way you'll stop me. You're either a murderer or you're not, Kwende. Choose." [determined and strong, protecting Teferi from death and hoping to protect Kwende from himself]
One of Subira's drovers. Though not described in much detail, they follow Subira's directions loyally.
"That's a lie. It was Teferi who saved us. We saw him with our own eyes. Why call a storm only to half kill himself stopping it?"
"Subira, the magistrates are coming. We need to go." [urgently. Subira is pronounced "soo-BEE-ruh"]
