Project Overview

I am currently developing a fan audio reading of one of the Resident Evil tie-in books, based off of a translation done by the folks at https://www.crimson-head.com . This first chapter is fairly short and only has two characters, but I'm to use this as a sort of "test run" to see if moving forward with this would be a good idea! I would also appreciate it if you could add your own effects as well. As if the entire scene takes place in the study room of a large castle (this excludes the narrator, of course)

  • Foreword's Script is FINISHED!

    Hey everyone! My script adapting the translation for the prologue chapter is finished. Rough, but finished! Once I get my resources together and feel like I can continue, I will begin assigning some of you to your roles!


    I really do apologize about how slow going this is. This project came to me on a whim and I have a bit of other life events going on at the moment that's making it hard to focus on this; but, rest assured, I will have this ready to go sooner than later! Just hang in tight for just a little bit longer!

  • First Episode Example Reel Released!

    Hey all! Bet you weren't expecting a new update so soon, huh? Y'know, I've been feeling bad about asking so much from you guys without y'all even knowing what the project would even look like! Well, worry no more! I've made an "example reel" of what I intend for the first half of the video to look like! In the place of whoever may be narrator is my beautiful (if not amateurish) voice! Don't worry, once I settle on who I'd like to fill that role, I'll fix it by adding your lovely voice instead!

  • First update!

    Hello everyone! First off, I want to give a huge thank you to the people who already submitted for their parts! I'm seeing a lot of promise and even interesting prospects for the future ;).

    Things have been a little slow on my end, lotta life crap taking priority, y'know. Rest assured though that the project is still underway! I've even uploaded a trailer for it on my YouTube channel (which might also be the intro? I haven't decided yet)

    Also, about the "deadline". I really only put it there because I had to. Really, it more represents when I would PREFER things to be finishes by, but don't feel like you can't make a submission if we (somehow) go past it!

I'm looking for someone that can give off a dooming/foreboding feel. This is the world of Resident Evil, where everywhere you go, darkness and corruption lies just underneath the skin. You will be reading full narrative descriptions as well as transitionary dialogue descriptors (i.e "X said" or "said X")

  • This story is about a shield; about a powerful, invisible shield called Umbrella. It is of course, a purely hypothetical story. Some countries in this world are referred to as "rogue states." They say that they support terrorism, and that they are both militarily and economically placed under huge pressure. However, other countries are considered to be "developing a social network" and receive every assistance possible.

  • The beginning of this legend was in 1967 in the tower room of an old castle. The castle was owned by Oswell E. Spencer, a Lord well known throughout Western European nobility. Lord Spencer had put parts of his castle under the disposal of a certain Dr. James Marcus who had for many years been in the employment of a prestigious Swiss university.

Co-founder of Umbrella Pharmaceuticals alongside his partner Oswell E. Spencer and close friends with Dr. Edward Ashford. Marcus is on the verge of discovering what will eventually become the t-Virus and is feverishly attempting to convince his cohort Dr. Ashford to bring it to Spencer. 


Someone who can convincingly pull off someone in their 50's would be preferred. The man is typically fairly neurotic, but in this he has a twinge of a smug yet prideful proudness for his virgining discovery. (I recommend looking up voice clips from previous media for inspiration)

One of the three co-founders of Umbrella Pharmaceuticals alongside Oswell E. Spencer and Dr. James Marcus, Ashford is an impossibly well off individual and a decedent of an historical British dynasty. In this, he is being convinced by his partner Dr. James Marcus to deliver the findings of his "Progenitor Virus" to Oswell Spencer. 

A particularly stuffy and skeptical man in his 50'-60's, he is reluctant to accept the, from his perspective, trivial findings of his partner take up even a little bit of his time.
