"After waking up in the middle of a forest by a mysterious voice, Froakie, the Human turned Pokemon and protagonist of this story, meets a very hyperactive white bunny, Scorbunny. The two quickly develop a friendship and become determined to help one another."

Hello again! I'm back currently looking for Voice Actors to help out with a new series I'm working on dubbing called Rescue Rangers. Said finished dub will be posted on the "Zero.Official" Youtube channel. Please consider supporting the channel, where you get updates on new casting calls as soon as they drop.

Basic Requirements:

  • A semi-reasonable Microphone with little to no background noise.

  • MUST be 13+, due to the main source of communication for this project being Discord.

  • Be able to raise your voice! Some scenes may require a lot of shouting or screaming in order to convey emotion.

  • Audition if you know you'll be able to stick around for the whole series.

  • If you get the role, please try your best to submit lines on time. If you can't get your lines in on the required date, let me know beforehand!

If you're chosen, you will be invited to a Discord server made by me to talk about further details. CCC or email is an option for communication, but not recommended. Roles usually aren't chosen until deadlines are up unless I'm absolutely confident on who I'm choosing.

    I apologize for the late casting. I thank every single one of you for throwing their hats out into the ring and giving this a go. 200+ submissions is the most I've ever gotten for any project to this day. Me and Bessa, the comic creator, were absolutely blown out of the water by how many talented people were there that applied. But sadly, I can only choose a few people from that list.

Froakie is one of the two leading characters in Rescue Rangers. Froakie is a human-turned Pokemon brought to the Pokemon world for an unknown purpose by a supposed unknown higher being... He constantly has nightmares and, eventually, visions of a growing unspecified threat on the horizon. Along his journey in this new world, he meets Scorbunny, with them quickly becoming close friends and creating a Rescue Rangers group, or a group of Pokemon whose purpose is to save others and explore the vast world around them.

I'm specifically looking for a younger teen sounding voice for Froakie. While it's not absolutely necessarily, it'll certainly boost your chances for being chosen.

  • [Yelling at the group of bullies.] "STOP IT! You guys are being real bullies! Scorbunny was just trying to help me, you guys are being unfair!"

  • [Talking amongst himself after seeing Merryhill Town for the first time.] "It really is a town.. a town filled with talking Pokemon. Each one of those lights.. This feels like a dream, yet it's too real. I feel so happy.."

  • [Referring to their encounter with the bullies the day prior.] "Of course! They were being jerks!"

Scorbunny is one of the two leading characters in Rescue Rangers. He is a hyperactive, determined, and super friendly Pokémon living just on the outskirts of Merryhill Town, where he would eventually find his new buddy, Froakie, his only friend. Before Froakie, Scorbunny was treated horribly by other individuals his age, the main bullies being Sneasel and her rag-tag team of punks. Inspired by his new friend's heroics throughout different circumstances the boys are put into, they decide to start a Rescue Ranger group, or a group of Pokémon whose purpose is to save others and explore the vast world around them.

I'm specifically looking for a younger teen sounding voice for Scorbunny. While it's not absolutely necessarily, it'll certainly boost your chances for being chosen.

  • [Comforting Froakie after he passed out during his incounter with the bullies.] "Oh merry berries!! You're awake! What a relief!"

  • [Totally geeking out, explaining the concept of Rescue Rangers to Froakie.] "Rescue Rangers are the coolest Pokemon in the world!! There are many teams out there rescuing Pokemon, discovering treasures, and going on epic adventures!!"

  • [Bummed.] "I've always wanted to be a Ranger and help others.. but I tend to mess things up and make situations worse for some Pokemon.. which is why I haven't even gotten a badge yet.."

Sneasel is one of the supporting characters, usually coming in and out of the story sporadically. She's the leader of a group of bullies that terrorize people like Scorbunny, or anyone that they think is beneath them in some way or another.

For her voice, I'm thinking a more rough and rugged tone for things. While it's not absolutely necessarily, it'll certainly boost your chances for being chosen.

  • [Tackling Scorbunny to the ground.] "I wouldn't try THAT if I was you, bunny!"
