Project Overview
WHO ARE WE?
Rift Point Productions is an amateur organization utilizing discord that attempts to take popular shows such as Star Trek and Doctor Who, and create our own audio spin-offs. With our unique storylines and dedicated team behind these productions, we aim to expand the universes in which these shows take place. We run our operations entirely off of volunteers, so although we wish we could pay our hardworking team, it is currently beyond our ability to do so.
What is our project?
Our current project is Renewal: A Star Trek Fan Production, which follows the crew of the ship Resurgence adhering to the Star Trek Online timeline. It features a diverse cast, promising around 8-12 episodes per season. Follow Admiral Ownsby and his determined crew as they venture out in the name of exploration!
How can I help?
We are currently looking for actors and actresses to fill the roles for Episode 6 of the series. Most of these except 1 are recast for MAIN CHARACTERS. Keep that in mind when auditioning!
Requirements:
-Recording quality must be clear with little background noise.
-Once assigned to a role, please stay in touch with staff in case you are needed for private practice sessions!
-If inactive at any time during the duration of the project, you will be warned, and if you continue to be inactive, it will result in your role being replaced.
-We use Discord as our main platform, so you must have an account to continue to participate and access the scripts and other information.
-Be respectful to everyone! We all are volunteers who utilize our talents and passions to ultimately benefit the project, so be mindful of what you say!
-Above all else, be PROACTIVE! Ask voice actors to join you for practice sessions, ask for critique, provide ideas for Rift Point, and communicate in general! It's meant to be a community for those who join the Rift family, not a job!

The Infamous is one of the main antagonist of the season. They are a sound alien as heard in episodes 1 and 2. They are elegant, manipulative, and down right evil. this role is defiantly a "make it your own" kind of thing

There isn't a humanoid in the galaxy who wouldn't love to witness the Kobali's Rebirth Process. Granted, I think only a human would imagine going through the process alive
Really? You think the Kobali to be so crude as to just lobotomize the subject?
Then what? Ohhhh....they're using some of the original Kobali's organic brain matter to put back into the subject's brain....very interesting indeed

(NOTE: We are looking for someone to be as close to the original previously heard voice as possible but you can put a bit of a personal spin on it if you wish you may use the previous episodes as reference.)
