Project Overview
Regina Moves In follows Greg, a single dad trying to rebuild his life while raising his daughter — all while living with his ex-wife, her new boyfriend, and now his eccentric, broke mother, Regina, who “comes for a visit” and never leaves.
Tone: Modern Family meets Arrested Development — fast-paced family chaos with a warm emotional core.

Description: Greg’s new romantic interest. Charming, playful, honest. She grounds Greg but is also thrown into his chaos.
“So how long do I have to sit here before you kiss me?”

Description: Greg and Susan’s daughter. Innocent, playful, unintentionally hilarious.

Description: Greg’s eccentric, broke mother. Naïve but opinionated. Frequently schemes, constantly intrudes.

“I’m broke, Greg. I can’t afford my apartment. That’s why I came to visit you.”
“I’ll figure out something. I always do.”
Description: The protagonist. Likable but constantly overwhelmed single dad. Balances sarcasm, awkwardness, and genuine heart.
"When I told you I have a weird living arrangement I should have clarified a little more.”
“I was hoping she’d just get the hint and take off soon.”
“Mom, I’m never going to get to know her if I don’t spend time with her.”
Female, Early 30s)
Description: Greg’s sarcastic ex-wife. Blunt, practical, but still connected to Greg through their daughter.
“I divorced you and I have to see that harpie even more.”
“Don’t be so hard on him. He’s more patient than I am.”
“Sweet! Sorry! Clean it up later!”
Description: Susan’s new boyfriend. Laid-back, bro-ish, oddly wise. A comic relief character who still has heart.
“Don’t stop on my account, bro!”
“This has to be tough on you, man. Moving in here — with your ex-wife of all people.”
“Pound it.”
