Hello all who find this call. Thank you for showing interest!
Reform, tells the story of the troubled Reverend Bernard Ladmiral. A man in service to theology for much of his life. Throughout his life he has lost his wife, their only child, and battled bouts of pain, depression, and a crisis of faith. Near his wit's end, Bernard journeys to the holy building that has seen him throughout his life grow and grieve. This visit conjures up painful memories and a chance encounter with a lonely drifter.
LOGISTICS
- The script was written as a Google doc. Preferred emails will be needed to view it.
- Discord is the preferred mode of communication. A server will be set up for the cast. It is recommended to join it, we will be doing a cast read through of the script, to get everyone comfortable and see how it flows. The server will also house better screenshots of your characters, as well as the YouTube playlist for the project. The script will also have a series of pictures attached as a visual reference.
- Twitter is also available should you need to reach me.
- Communication is incredibly important to me. Please, if we find ourselves in conversation, be responsive. I've recasted roles and not casted for lack of communication.
- Nobody, including myself will receive any monetary gain from the project. I do this out of a love for filmmaking and teamwork. You're help is IMMENSELY appreciated.
- I am a college student outside of this, as well as work a part-time job. The project doesn't have a projected release date yet, due to my schedule being rather packed. But, I am confident in getting production started on it.
- Clear and clean audio is a must. I don't need the world's best microphone. Just make sure we can hear your beautiful voice...smoothly! :)

Bernard Ladmiral, the respected and revered man of our story. His life has been an uphill climb. He is at his end. Will a chance evening with a troublesome young man, save him?
Bernard is old. His voice needs to sound mature, gruff, and worn.

We’ve not seen a full service in nearly 3 years. Frankly, my state of mind has persisted longer than that. I would do nothing but spread my pain and doubts to the weary who come through. It’s time for me to leave-- (Speaking contently)
Yes, Jessup. You must confess and your sins and transgressions will be forgiven. However, you can’t return to living this life, you must do good.I thought I would believe the change in his life, at that moment. He felt different...or so he thought. For me it’s just another piece taken, apart of me i’ll never see again. A joyous moment for one man. The other, reduced to doubt and anxiety. I feel nothing, Gertrude. (He is tired, very tired. Life has punched him in the gut and left him.)
Gertrude Ladmiral, Bernard's wife of many years. She is no longer with us, having died in childbirth. She seems content with what happened, even though it inflicted immense pain on her loved ones. She knows where she and her child ended up. She visits Bernard from the grave, she watches her husband teter on the brink of ending it all.
Like Bernard, her voice should sound worn. and tired. Though, she tries to bring Bernard joy, over time she realizes her attempts are futile.

Your physical ailments are one thing, Bernard. But what of your head and your teachings?
(whispered, as if in Bernard's ear) Go to the garden for me, Bernard. I want to feel the dirt one last time before I go.
Bernard, what you wanted was for me to be healthy. Mary, was not meant to be in our world. Circumstances proved otherwise. Our deaths weren’t meant to push you away from God...if anything, you should have leaned closer to him...to his church and to your flock.
Bernard, I’ve known you long enough to see when you are struggling. But this...this is not the way.
Jessup Marshall, is a troublesome volatile young man. On the night of Bernard's visit, the boy has committed a heinous crime. He finds himself at the foot of the church that Bernard calls home. Though armed with a weapon, he doesn't hold the man hostage. Instead, he seeks guidance and help from the Reverend.
Jessup's a teenager 17-20 years old. Not much of an education. He's volatile and a boy of few words. In the story, he very much has the power with Bernard, but, he doesn't think to act on it.

(He's asked a question he doesn't know the answer too.) Refuge I spose. Safety.
The officer speaks from an angry condescending tone of voice. Seemingly annoyed with his current predicament.

Roger. Jessup Marshall, you’re under arrest for the murder of Norman Marshall.
Because he hit him. Doesn’t matter. He still pulled a gun and killed his father.

All units be advised. Subject ID’d as a Jessup Marshall. 19 years old. Last seen heading west out of town. Tall, wearing a khaki shirt and pants. He is armed, proceed with caution.
My gamertag id MityMorphinMace. I am looking for someone to assist in set designing. A visual guide will be put together to help in the process. I take great care in precision and detail, so someone who has a good grasp with Halo 5 forge is welcome. This will help me greatly.
