Redubbing My Old Cringe Writing from 2011 - 2016
Project Overview
Hi everyone! My name is Jason, AKA Aroandus.
I'm twenty years old and have been writing books and stories since the young age of 12.
I have some cringey old stories I want to redub into a little YT Video just for some laughs.
I won't make you record this in a discord call, so don't worry about that.
Just go ahead and audition! I think it'll be a fun little project about re-dubbing some HILARIOUS old stories from when I was younger.

Requirements:
Please have a decent microphone. Nothing fancy, but something good enough for an amateur project.

Arin serves as the protagonist for both short stories I will be covering in this short little YouTube video.
He's kind, but struggles with being weak.
His voice range is mid - high. He sounds like your cliche anime protagonist, maybe even a bit nasally.
He also serves as the narrator in first person as well, so he has the majority of the lines.
Arin always struggled with being weak, and never had enough magical energy.
It's hard to really say much more about him, as I didn't flesh out any of this characters back in the day.
(Shouting across the house) "(PRONUN: Sigh Yuh) Syia! Come on! You're going to be late!"
(Stern, Mocking) "Hey, What the hell is going on?"
(Surprised, Impatient) "There is a way out? You're telling me this now?!"
Syia is Arin's younger sister, she serves as a major character in the first short story consisting of 5 chapters.
She has a higher pitched anime like voice, is very sweet and kind of softspoken.
She's shy and has anxiety.
I say she's a child, but she's 12.
Syia is pronounced (SIGH - YUH)
(Worried, Awkward, Nervous) "Now you made me more nervous! My god Arin! You're so mean!"
(Pouting, Childish) "No! I'm not a little kid anymore!"
(Sweet, Soft) "Thank you Arin, I know what to choose now"
Skylar is Arin's love interest in both short stories.
They meet up for the first time in the first one, and the second one she dies.
Skylar is a basket case, often not fitting in and being too loud and socially awkward. She's pretty bad at social situations and doesn't really understand people too well.
She is a huge nerd with curly blonde hair and glasses
Her voice range is fairly middle ranged. She almost sounds bitchy in a way. Kind of tsundere ish if you know what that is lol.
(Scared, Nervous) "T-That's Impossible. W-what are you?"
(Serious) "Your sister is in danger, she could die. My name is Sky, come on Arin let's go see your sister."
(Happy, Gloating) "Easy, I am a runemaster, one of the few people who can read the power of Runeblades."
Katherine is Arin's best friend throughout the short story. She only appears in the second one.
She's a very sarcastic, bitchy, and flirty character. Often breaking hearts and laughing about it.
She's got a mid-low ranged voice and talks very preppy and is rude for a lot of the stories.
She's close to Arin and calls him "Brother".
(Sarcastic, Flirty, Sassy) "Don't act like you wouldn't love it!"
(Cheering up through tears, Teasing) "Right like we could do that! Come on Eric, it's a good dream but it'll never happen!"
(Serious, Begging, Scared) "Damnit! Arin! Now is not the time to slack off! Give me your energy!"
Eric is the muscle of the group. He's the leader and is basically a big teddy bear.
He's got a deep voice, and he's very tall and muscular. He's strong willed and basically your cliché "big guy who is secretly a soft boi"
He's very sweet despite his outward appearance and really cares about his friends.
(Laughing, Teasing) "Alright, since Arin is being a little bitch we will sleep here."
(Serious) "The pain we're feeling can be dealt with later got it? For now we need to head north to the city."
(Disheartened, Jokingly) "Wow Kathy thanks for ruining my idea."
Drew is the antagonist in the second story. For some reason I wrote him as a really stupid and cliche evil guy.
He's still a teenager, so I picture his voice as like a teenager trying to be all cool and making their voice raspy and talking in a ''cool evil voice''.
(Cartoonishly Evil) "No you won't, you'll die right now."
(Cartoonishly Evil) "Well, look who I've finally found! If it isn't the lil one."
(Cartoonishly Evil) "Now what if I kill her?"
This girl is literally just some random doctor who tries to take Arin's sister away because Arin won't train to learn dual wielding.
I don't understand what this character really did. But she was the villain for a moment.
Go head and mess around with your audition lol.
(Enraged) "How the hell did this kid use that rune skill? It doesn't make since it's almost as if-"
(Just like Question?) "Mr. Scrain, I have a proposal for you. How about I give you a chance to train and learn how to dual wield?"
(Dramatic Evil)(Also yes i'm aware this line is incorrect) "Well, then I guess I will have to have some motivation. Mr. Scrain you will never see your sister again until you come with us!"
The Ancient of Fire is an antagonist. He talks to Arin in a dream and takes over Katherine's body.
He basically was Ragnaros from world of warcraft. So giving him a deep monsterous voice works I guess?
(Smirking, Arrogant) "How can you be so sure? This little body has been overloaded with energy so I thought I'd step in."
(Angrily) "Fine! Keep her! But be warned, her power is inconceivable. She's not like you Arin, you have hidden potential."
(Seriously) "I'll let you heal her, but where there is life, there will be death."
Alec was the main villain of the old book, but bc i'm only dubbing short stories he's a very minor character.
Just make him the most arrogant and rough battle hardened warrior voice you can think of haha.
He's arrogant, powerful, and cynical.
He's only got 3 lines.
(Arrogant, laughing) Now now, that's enough.
(Arrogant) "Hmm hi Arin is it? It's been awhile brother."
(Arrogant) "I'll be taking Drew away now Arin. Have fun with your new power, if it doesn't consume you."
