Redub of Healer
Project Overview
This Project is a family-friendly fan dubbing of the infamous series Redo of Healer, a fantasy anime with the main plot centering around revenge.
Main Plot
The story follows the protagonist known as Keyaru who has been chosen to become a hero. Unfortunately, due to the established heroes being corrupt, Keyaru becomes enslaved and is forced to work for them against his will. After finally breaking free, Keyaru decides to enact his vengeance on everyone who wronged him and ultimately decides to expel the Corruption within the Empire to save the world
Changes
For those already aware of the series, Let me establish that this dub will not be exactly the same. For starters, the original contains numerous NSFW material which won't be included in an attempt to keep things family-friendly. Furthermore, I will also be changing a good chunk of the story itself to keep things interesting. While I wouldn't consider this an abridged parody, I do plan to implement a few changes in some of the story arcs. For the most part the characters will stay the same.
Casting Call
I am looking for voice actors that are able to bring these characters to life. You’ll be given lines of what your character says for each episode
As a voice actor, you have 2 main requirements
Mic quality has to be decent (No background noises, no muffled audio, no movement of the mic while recording, etc.)
Add flair to your voice acting. Don't just sound like you're reading aloud a text, be able to convey a feeling as you record your lines. Familiarize yourself with the character be put a spin with how you best understand these emotions.

Princess Flare/Freiya is the ruler of a corrupt kingdom, and an antagonist turned Deuteragonist of the series.
Role in the Story
In the beginning of the story Flare acts as the main antagonist by enslaving the protagonist Keyaru, being the source of most of the anguish and pain that he went through, After finally getting his revenge on the Princess Keyaru decides to brainwash Flare, making her a companion known as Freiya as they work together to destroy the Kingdom.
*For anyone familiar with The Rising of the Shield Hero think of Flare/Freiya's character as if Myne and Raphtalia were the same person.
Personality
As the Princess, Flare is two-faced. To keep up appearances, Flare acts as a kind-hearted person who looks out for everyone's well-being, but behind closed doors, Flare is actually cruel, selfish, and sadistic. Flare considers herself higher than everyone else and takes personal pleasure inflicting pain on others.
As Freiya, her kindness is Genuine, acting as a big sister to those around her. Freiya is also much more heroic possessing a strong sense of justice, desiring to fight for what she believes is right and isn't afraid to stand against injustice.
Overall, Flare's main personality is her dualistic nature as she can go from being the nicest person in the room to the most vile.
Requirements
For this character, I'll need someone who can voice as both a hero and a villain. Being someone who can be as kind and cheerful as they are cruel and cold. With this character in particular they must also be comfortable with swearing as Flare curses like a sailor
(Rudely/Entitled) You may refer to me as "Your royal highness", or "her Majesty". Any honorifc should do really.
(Brave) You don't get to decide my fate I'll fight for what's right!
(Angry/Disgusted) You filthy Rodent!
Norn is the Second Princess and Flare's younger sister, acting as the final antagonist of the anime.
Role
After Keyaru escapes and "kills" Flare. Norn steps in to fill in her sister's shoes by trying to hunt down Keyaru as well as extermination the demons. Norn doesn't have powers like her sister, but is a genius tactician being the one leading tge army and often catching Keyaru of guard.
Additional role
While not part of the original story I want to add moments where Norn is acting as a narrator
Personality
Being the younger sister, Norn can come off as childish, she acts playful and full of enthusiasm. but in reality she is very conniving and dangerous. Norn knows how to read people and how to exploit the weaknesses she sees in them making Keyaru afraid to face her head on as she was able figure out he was plotting revenge while imprisoned.As a princess, Norn is cunning,and charismatic, often using her charm to sway people.
In many ways, I see her as similar to characters like Joker, Alastor, and Bill Cipher as beings who hide their darkness behind a smile.

For this character, I'll need someone who can act childish in a scary way. The voice may also need to

Leonard is the head knight of the corrupt Kingdom and a minor villain of the 1st half of the anime.
Role
When Keyaru gets imprisoned, Leonard is the main person who tortures him. Beating the healer into submission. After Keyaru escapes he shape-shifts himself into Leonard, making the public think the Head Guard murdered the first Princess. Fueled by rage, Leonard has vowed to make Keyaru suffer at any cost.
Personality
Leonard is a bully. Much like Princess Flare, he relishes in the suffering of others. Leonard acts macho, always wanting to prove how tough he is.
Requirement
For this character, The voice has to sound tough and intimidating, sound like they enjoy putting others through pain. The voice actor also has to be comfortable with swearing as Leonard curses like a sailor.

King Proum is the Sovereign of the Jiorall Kingdom and is the Overarching Antagonist of the series
Role
In terms of the actual anime, Proum's role is minor since he appears two times in the series. But he is both directly and indirectly responsible for the majority of the events that occur in the series. Proum condones and takes part in the vile corruption that plagues his kingdom, raised his children to be as depraved as he is and is the ultimate cause for Keyaru's suffering.
Requirement
At first glance, proum sounds old, but he still commands a great deal of respect. His voice needs to sound like he doesn't play games and is always serious, ready to shut down anything that becomes a problem.
