Baller, A football career game
Project Overview
Football Career games are very rare. The leading football games (Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA) miss out grassroots, lower level football. This is what my game is focused around. You are a young man (17 years old to start with) who is looking to secure a place in Oxford City football club's ranks. With a series of cinematic out of game cut scenes, dynamic in game cut scenes and a unique in-match game play that has never been done before, this gaping hole in the football gaming market will be filled. With a gripping story line and immersive lower league experience, this game could become something huge.

The lead character. Black British, born of two Black African parents. Has an English accent. He is a young, aspiring footballer who has faced a lot of disappointment in his career. He starts of as a 16 year old, going for a trial at Oxford City football club. He then gets through the trial and plays a few games in his career. He meets, and becomes very good friends with, a player called Anthony Franklin who also plays for Oxford City FC. I chose young adult as the age for the character, but a teen's voice will also work.
Hello, my name is Isaac Williams
I don't want to go on loan (angry/aggressive)
Yes! Get in! (happy/excited)
The main character's best friend. Major role. White British. Age 16. Name is Anthony Franklin, but name is not set in stone. Very timid at first, nervous at the trial. The player first meets him just before the trial starts, and after the trial they become good friends. Anthony comes out of his shell eventually.

He shoots.... AND HE SCORES! (excited)
White British male. 54 years old. Retired footballer.
You can't be putting tackles in like that and expect to stay on the pitch. Unbelievable.
He's already scored 23 goals this season and it doesn't look like he's going to stop any time soon. (impressed)
That was an absolute stunner! He's got to be happy with that one!
43 Years of age, born in England, Fairly big role.
Good luck Isaac
Congratulations! (happy/excited)
Go on son! (encouragement)
This role is very important. This is one of the first voices the player hears in the game. The quality of this voice sets the scene of the game, lets the user know that it is a very professional product. The Player walks into the reception looking for where to go for his football trial. The receptionist, a middle-aged woman, tells the player where to go after a small conversation. The conversation goes as such:
Receptionist: Hello sir, how can I help you today?
Williams: Hi, I'm here for the trial
Receptionist: Okay, what is your name?
Williams: Isaac Williams
Receptionist: And what position do you play?
Williams: Striker
Receptionist: Okay Mr. Williams, go all the way down the corridor and you should see the players warming up on the pitch. The manager and coach will be there shortly. Good Luck!
