This is an Abridged of Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon
Some rules/guidelines to note before auditioning-
-Keep in mind, this is a long-term project, so audition with knowing that!
-Something to remember when audition: You will have to yell some lines... so please acknowledge that!
-Lines will usually be due about 1 week after the script for the episode is posted!
-Please be 16+!
-Have a decent sounding mic, no background noise/a quiet recording space. The mic doesn't need to be professional... just one that doesn't echo/create lots of background noise.
-Please do at least 2 takes per line with different delivery styles!
-Please be easy, respectful, and professional to work with.
-Please leave your discord in the comments of your audition! Our main point of communication will be on a discord server, so it is required to have a discord account!

Boxxo is the protagonist of Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon, a regular guy reincarnated as… you guessed it, a vending machine. His new life in the dungeon is full of absurdity, and he has no control over his movements, limited only to dispensing products, making beeping noises, and playing prerecorded phrases. Boxxo’s only means of real communication is through his inner monologue, which is witty, sarcastic, and often frustrated by his current circumstances. Despite his immobile, mechanical form, Boxxo's personality shines as he navigates the challenges of dungeon life and his growing bond with Lammis, the adventurer who adopts him.

Lammis is the strong but somewhat naïve adventurer who discovers and befriends Boxxo, the vending machine, in the dungeon. Physically, she's incredibly powerful, able to lift and carry Boxxo around, but she lacks confidence in her own abilities. Lammis has a big heart and is always looking to help others, but her simple nature often leads her to overlook the deeper complexities of the situations she finds herself in. Her innocence and straightforward way of thinking create a comedic contrast with Boxxo’s dry, sarcastic inner voice. Despite her lack of subtlety, Lammis becomes the key to Boxxo's survival, and their bond grows as they navigate the dungeon together.

The Vending Machine UI is the pre-programmed system voice of Boxxo, triggered whenever a product is dispensed or when certain vending functions are used. It serves as the only audible communication from Boxxo’s external self, though it has no true consciousness or emotions. Its tone is consistently neutral, mechanical, and polite, contrasting heavily with Boxxo's lively internal monologue. This robotic nature adds a layer of humor, as the vending machine’s calm responses often appear completely disconnected from the chaotic or ridiculous situations surrounding them.
