"Ready Set, Not Yet" duet from Beetlejuice
Project Overview
Hey there!
I am looking for a duet partner for my cover of “Ready Set, Not Yet” from Beetlejuice. This cover will be posted on the official YouTube channel of my new production company that will put on full musical covers online. For now, the channel will only be some covers as we get the word out as well as build up a pool of actors to choose from when we decide which show we would like to begin with. This is where you potentially come in!
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Sing all of the audition parts listed.
If you submit you singing another song or not everything that is listed your audition will not be considered
2. Please record your audio as if you were sending it in as your final take.
I need to have a good idea of what your audio is going to sound like when I mix it with mine. Your audition should be the best reflection of your final audio quality as possible. That being said....
3. You have to have a decent mic
I don't expect professional-grade audio. I know we are all amateurs here, but if you have static whenever you raise your voice or sound like you are recording inside of a fish tank it is hard to make the product a quality one. Even if your mic isn't perfect, there are plenty of ways to make a bleh mic sound great. I am more than willing to help supply you with resources to do that if needed.
4. Have a discord account
We will be communicating on discord, so it is ideal that you have one. Even if you don't wish to be added to the production company discord, it is much easier for me to respond there.
And that is it! I am willing to give feedback on any audition that asks for it, so give it your best shot!

Please use this track if possible in your audition. Your Audio mixing ability won't have any impact on your casting, it just helps me know that you can sing in key and keep with the track. Make sure to really enunciate clearly during the "rap" part. Good luck :D
*Introduce Yourself* (name and fun fact is fine)
The entirety of Barbara's solo verse from "look at these jugs" all the way to "ready set"
From 1:01 on the track to 1:41
"And that's all we've got, and that's not a lot" to the end.
From 2:59 on the track until the end.
