RE☆STARS : Aikatsu! Japanese Chorus Group // OPEN FOR VOCALISTS AND MIXERS!!

Project Overview

Hello everyone!! My name is Skai, and I'm back with another big project! This is an Aikatsu cover chorus called RE☆STARS, where we will be aiming to cover at least 20+ songs from the entire franchise. This group will also be a more serious and organized project, so I ask you to only audition if you can put your full dedication into it! We're is in need of multiple vocalists, and possibly a few mixers a well. 

For this project the vocalists will be cast according to how much their vocal range fits the character, plus by how similar they sound as well. There are many vocal roles to audition for, so feel free to audition for more than one if you'd like. You may be cast as two vocalists at most, so make sure you audition for those you would really love to sing as!! I will start casting on July 1st, so there's plenty of time to try out for a role. I will be self-casting myself as Aoi Kiriya and Rin Kurosawa, so therefore their roles will be closed!

『Requirements』

- Make sure you have a Discord account prior to auditioning for a role! Our main source of communication will be on a Discord server, and we need everyone to be together so we can create content for this group.

- Know at least 50% of the songs from Aikatsu! If you're auditioning for a vocalist, then make sure you know most to all of the songs they sing. 

- This group requires your full dedication as stated before! This is a big project that you'll be auditioning for, and we need everyone to be active within it or else we won't be able to properly work together as a group.

- You have to be able to meet the deadlines given! If you know you won't be available for recording/mixing starting July/August, then please refrain from auditioning. I will allow extensions if asked for though! 

- If you're trying for a vocalist, I ask that you have a USB microphone or better. It has to also have little to no background noise and static!

Otome's voice is always full of energy! She usually sings cheerful songs, such as Chu Chu Rainbow. Her voice can also be described as childish too, though it's still smooth and well-kept.

Yurika has a strong and deep voice, though she does have a higher ranged side too as heard in Fashion Check. When she's not singing songs such as Glass Doll or Eternally Flickering Flame, her voice is petite and more of a mezzo.

Akari has a very nasally voice, and an energetic tone! Her voice is very similar to Yume and Hime's (Aikatsu Stars!), so you could use their voices as a reference too.

Sumire has a graceful and smooth voice-type. Her voice is extremely mature, and there's no nasal in it at all. Sumire can also pull off a pretty good soprano in some of her songs. She sings a variety of songs such as Emerald Magic and Love Game.

The mixers play an important role in this project, as they have to mix everyone's voices together to create each cover.

The mixers have to be able to either tune, time, master, or do all of them. I plan to have at least 3 mixers, so they're all be working together. 

You are required to be able to mix at least 4 or more voices! Please send in an example or sample or a mix you've completed with at least 4 vocalists singing in it.
