The Moonlight & The Playwrights: Band Auditions

Hello Musicians of CCC!

I’ve been a vocalist for about 3 years, and I’ve wanted to get into the music industry for a long while now. I figured, what better way than to find others like myself and just throw ourselves at it?

If you’d like to join, shoot your shot!

I plan on starting out by doing covers as a sort of icebreaker for the band. It’ll help us get comfortable working together while we figure out what genre and style fits us best before we start writing original songs.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 17+, as I’ll soon be turning 18 myself

• Mic recordings must be clear with minimal background noise. USB microphones are perfectly fine, though XLR is recommended.

• Discord is required for communication.

• You’re welcome to apply for multiple roles if you’d like, though I’d love to build a band with a diverse range of talents.

At the end of the day, I just want to make something fun that everyone enjoys being a part of. I want everyone to have a voice in the creative process, because that’s where the best music comes from.

My hope is that one day we’ll be releasing our own original music on streaming platforms and maybe even making something bigger out of it. If that eventually turns into success or even pays well, that’s awesome, but that’s not why I’m starting this. I just want to create music with people who genuinely love making it.
