Rainbow Heartbeats (Dating Sim/Visual Novel) Side Characters!
Project Overview
Rainbow Heartbeats has been in production since 2020! It's my first official project, but I have completed other projects while this one has been in development, including All of my Tomorrows, and most recently, With Bodies They Walk. For the demo, I managed to find 5 absolutely AMAZING voice actors for the initially included characters. But if there's one thing I like to brag about this game, it's the sheer amount of befriendable and datable characters you can interact with. Ergo, I need more amazing voice actors. :) Please feel free to audition for multiple parts.
This casting call is for SIDE characters only! Most have less than 10 lines, some less than 5.
More information:
- I'm looking for approximately 2 variations per character.
- No NSFW lines are needed, required, or will be asked for.
- Audio files can be any file extension. I.e: .ogg, .mp3, .wav, etc
- You can record individual lines, or you can keep it in one single file (bloopers are always appreciated :P)
- You can record in any style you want, run through them one by one in abcabc style or with both takes together in aabbcc style, it makes no difference! Just do what's most comfortable.
- All lines will come with direction or implication. If at all you're confused at any time, please just let me know. I'll include my contact information for any attempts at reaching out to cast members.

Lydia's son. An angsty teen who acts out a lot, and very rarely shows any kind of affection.

Gyeong is 1 of 2 side characters that I am looking to also obtain action sounds (i.e 'hm's, 'ohs', laughter, etc). She is a controlling mother. She wants what she thinks is best for her child, and often times ends up projecting her own aspirations onto them.
You and I need to have a talk.
I've told them that I want them to focus on their education first before settling down.
I'm not heartless. I just want what's best for them.
Zhang's bully. Think Sid from toy story if he was a teenager, a girl, and hadn't been traumatized by talking toys. The kind of person who never learns her lesson. Very "Karen" like.
Get a life, dweeb.
He get's all weird and hyper-focusy on this stuff. Oh, I didn't even tell you the best part! He cried when he got the test back!
You're lucky if I don't sue! That stuff almost choked me to death!
An arranged bride bitter that her prospective husband spends all his time with another. Beautiful, but a sore loser. Think's little of most people, but will step aside if it's ultimately deemed for the best.

These lines are trimmed down from their full length, but the character has less than 6 lines. Manpreet is a side character for Vanessa's story. He's a peppy store clerk who's happy and ready to assist!
He always purchases from our diamond collection.
Sort of? Well I mean, he's asked why our diamonds weren't as pricey as other sellers.
The guys he travels with never stop talking. They're always going on about dog shows and betting.
Suspect A for Weston's story. This character only has 2-3 lines. One line has been cut down from it's original length.
I moonlight for a distribution faction.
Are you... letting us go?
Khloe's brother. Protective, obsessively so. Mistrustful, and usually puts himself where he isn't needed.
I don't know what game you think you're playing, but you aren't welcome here. So you best get the hell out of my house.
I was a jerk. She was right to kick me out, and for that, I'm sorry. Take care of her.

Onny's aunt. She's regretful, but happy, and really seems to be putting her best foot forward with her relationship with her nephew.
Onny has told us so much about you. He really goes on and on.
We weren't able to be apart of his life for many years. I want to thank you for being there. For supporting him.
I haven't seen him this happy since he was a little boy.
Michael's arch nemesis. Cocky, and puts up a good fight, but knows when he's lost. Charming, and a bit dangerous...
Well, I'll just have to make it worth your while then.

The Witness is tied up in Cam Moon's storyline. He is 1 of 2 side characters that I am looking to also obtain action sounds (i.e 'hm's, 'ohs', laughter, etc). He's mistrustful, grumpy, and rightfully so. His ties with Cam have meant his freedom is limited, and his life is threatened.
I told her I didn't really want anything to do with this.
I'll agree to one meeting. She can take a statement, can't she? Shouldn't that be enough?
