{ Puzzle Mansion } Minecraft Cinematic Roleplay

Project Overview

~*☆ STORY SUMMARY ☆*~ 

10 people have just won free tickets to the newly-built, highly-anticipated Puzzle Mansion: a giant puzzle room. The goal of Puzzle Mansion is simple: complete all the puzzles, find all the objects, and go through every room to unlock your prize!

However, instead of a normal puzzle room, the 10 competitors are split up and forced to play for their freedom. Friendships are tested and trust is broken as the competitors try to escape the mansion.

The rooms grow increasingly deadly and the Puzzle Master is getting impatient… will they find a way out? Or will they perish before they can get the chance to?

~*☆ REQUIREMENTS ☆*~ 

General:


  • Be at least 13.

  • Be respectful to other team members and the LGBTQ+ community!

  • Have Discord!

Voice Actors:


  • Have clear sound quality and little to no background noise.

  • Try to do more than 1 take of each line for your audition.

  • If you're not cast for a main/supporting role, you may be cast for an extra role!

  • If you aren’t comfortable voicing an LGBTQ+ character, DO NOT audition.

  • The Significance of a role may change later on.

Builders & Body Actors:


  • Have Minecraft Java Edition

  • Be able to download mods! For this project, there are 10 needed, but you may need to download more.

  • Most sessions will be on Saturdays/Sundays. Please have at least one of those days free!

  • We might not recruit skin artists until later, but you may apply for the team right now.

  • If we do recruit skin artists, it will be based on your art style, so provide links to your previous work in the form linked below!

  • This rp will be posted on the BeeLeaf Studios channel!

  • Since this is the studio's first project, PM will likely be a SHORT series. However, we may have short films/skits uploaded in between episodes with the same characters!

  • No cussing/slurs will be involved with this project (will likely use censored versions instead). LGBTQ+ terms will not be used as insults.


  • Characters' sexualities are subject to change. Again, DO NOT AUDITION if you DO NOT want to voice an LGBTQ+ character.


  • If you are cast, be patient and expect this project to be leisurely! We will be trying to work around COVID-19 issues and general time constraints.

  • EPISODE 1 COMPLETE!!

    I'm not sure if anyone will see this, but I wanted to post an update here in case any VAs who left the Discord chat will see it. After over a year, I'm happy to say Episode 1 is complete!! I'm unsure about the future of the series and whether it will continue or not, but I wanted to at least post what we have now. Thank you to all the VAs and other staff that helped make this possible ^^ If this series does continue, I will need to recast many VAs...but in the off-chance that an old VA wants to return to their role, don't hesitate to shoot me a message!   • RE-OPENED Roles (again)

    Basically, we have some VAs who aren't active and/or have left the project. Due to this, Aubrie, Chrys, and Kelly's roles are opened again. We're at a weird point where I'm not sure whether Aubrie and Chrys's VAs have left completely, so those two roles are open just in case. However, Kelly needs a completely new VA. I mostly look for good audio quality, so if you've auditioned before and want to re-send one with better quality, that would be great! Thank you again for your auditions!

  • Kelly & Quentin have been REOPENED!

    Due to VAs leaving and not responding to messages, Kelly and Quentin are open again! There are a handful of auditions that we've gotten for them that don't really fit what we have in mind, but we appreciate all your auditions! We may contact you in the future to voice a side character.

  • Second Round of Auditions

    We have now passed the audition deadline, yay!! We won't be accepting any new auditions; thank you to everyone who sent 1 in! My staff and I have gone through all your wonderful auditions, but most of our casting choices are people who auditioned for different characters than who we're considering them for. Because of this, SOME OF YOU will be asked to do another audition for a character you did not already audition for. IF YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN FOR THE "SECOND ROUND," I will DM you the role I'd like you re-audition for! Please try to get it in by the end of the week; if that isn't possible, just let me know!

  • Deadline Extension

    The deadline for this project will be extended by about another month because I'd like more options (auditions) for most of the characters. I appreciate all of you auditioning for multiple characters, but sadly I can only cast 1 role per person! So we will wait a little longer for different people to audition. Ben is soft-spoken, secretive, yet friendly. Even if he's excited or joking around, it won't show much in his voice; don't make him sound monotone, though!

Elliana is the bubbly, pastel, talkative friend. She loves dessert and is easily motivated both in general and by sweets! She seems a little naive, but it's only because she tries not to let bad things get to her.

Her voice should be constantly positive. When saying something negative, she says it in a way to make it sound not as bad.

The Butler is the Puzzle Master's right-hand assistant. They carry out all of the Puzzle Master's tasks and often operate undercover.

Try to change your tone of voice slightly whenever they are undercover. It can be silly if you want!
