Purple Hyacinth Comic Dub
Project Overview
This is a comic dub of the WEBTOON, Purple Hyacinth, written by Sophism and Ephemerys. I have received permission to make this comic dub.
Purple Hyacinth is about Lauren, a member of the Ardhalis Police Department and Kieran, a notorious serial killer called The Purple Hyacinth, teaming up to take down The Phantom Scythe, a gang of killers.
For this project, you will need:
1. A good quality microphone. I cannot cast you for a main role if your microphone quality is poor. No background noise or static. You are more than welcome to audition for extras if your quality is not that great. No phone microphones.
2. Commitment. I will not work with people who aren't willing to stick to deadlines and put the effort in. Of course, things happen but I need your commitment to this project.
3. Discord. We have a Discord server where we will communicate and you cannot be a part of the project if you do not have Discord.
4. Enjoyment! We want you to enjoy this project more than anything and to have fun, to interact with the other voice actors and to have a laugh.

Kieran White AKA The Purple Hyacinth is a serial killer. He is cold, sinister and his voice is often monotonous with an eerie softness to it. His voice needs to really send chills down your spine. I'm looking for a medium-low voice but it needs to be soft, not gravelly.
"Well Officer, I'm an assassin and I know how to recognise murderous intentions when I see them". (Cold)
"Hahaha! That's quite presumptuous of you". (Slightly cocky)
"I brutally slaughtered dozens of innocent people hours ago, didn't I? But I've done so much better than that". (Cold, Sinister)
William Hawkes is the lieutenant of the Patrol unit at APD. He has a gentle nature and is a perfectionist. He has a lot of pressure on his shoulders from his family and has a lot of worries at home. He can't keep certain people under control and that frustrates him. He has a medium voice which is gentle with some authority to it.
"You did good today". (Light encoouragement)
"Nobody knows the area better than we do". (Confident)
"If the culprit is still somewhere around here, we have the best chance of finding him" (Speculating)
Dylan is young, excited child who is childhood friends with Lauren. He needs to sound playful, enthusiastic and innocent.
"It's ok Ren. I know you never meant to kill me..." (Sincere)
"I want to be the best doctor in the city!" (Enthusiastic)
"It's really pretty. The crown, not you." (Joking)
Lila Desroses is the secretary for the Ardhalis Police Department. She is kind, gentle and bubbly.
"Good morning Officer Sinclair!" (Warm)
"Why... Thank you Will..." (Flustered)
"Hello, APD. How can I help?" (Formal)
Oliver March. March is a detective at APD and has several encounters with the patrol unit. He seems to care about his fellow colleagues and is sometimes hesitant about his orders. He seems friendly and genuine. He has a medium - low voice.
"Lieutenant Hawkes! What is going on here?" (Urgent)
"As we are now, we can't fix the system or its past wrongs. But at least we can make sure the right people are accused and that the innocent ones are protected". (Sincere)
"An official investigation will be opened tomorrow". (Serious)
Tim Sake. Part of the Phantom Scythe and main contributor to the Allendale Train Station Bombing. I imagine he has a low voice and sounds like he's seen some shit but feel free to play around with this one.
"The car was borrowed form some random rich family" (Lying, spiteful)
"I'm going to get rid of that cop tonight" (Sinister)
"SOME of us actually do something around here..." (Rude)
This is just for people who wish to voice as extras.
(some screams, cries and shouts of panic)

(rioting, chanting and shouting)
Example: He needs to be found and slaughtered like all the innocent he has killed!
(chatter)
Example: Did you hear? The Purple Hyacinth struck again last night...

Harvey is a sweet, lovely police officer that works at the APD. He is really kind to fellow co-workers and a youthful young man. He has a medium-high voice and is quite young, I'd say the early 20s.
"Officer Sinclair! Lauren, DON'T!!!" (panicked)
"Wait, isn't the department the other way?" (confused)
"Sinclair... Every time..." (sighing)
