Brief
How does someone change their outlook on life? To walk a totally different path?
If all meaning has collapsed in your life, how do you rebuild it? Read on if that question interests you...
The role is an approx. 3 minute Voiceover of an internal dialogue with the character trying to motivate themselves to get back up after a traumatic situation.
The format is a 2 hour directed session where we’ll produce the Voice over through a few takes. I like to collaborate rather than dictate to people I work with so be ready to come with ideas of your own if chosen.
As it’s an internal monologue, it’s important you’re able vary the voice of the same character (think Batman / Bruce Wayne or Green Goblin from the Toby Maguire Spider-Man movies)
I do require you to be able to record yourself and give me an uncompressed high quality WAV file at the end of the session.
If you don’t live near me (in the UK) then we can do this via video conferencing.
Audition
Provide a 1 minute clip of a young, depressed male arguing with a more assertive, driven inner voice to get out of bed and get to a job interview after 50 rejections.
The assertive voice should get firmer and firmer, getting angry but never losing its temper.
