Psycho-Pass Abridged
Project Overview
Hey guys, welcome to Psycho-Pass Abridged. The Exceed Squad is currently a channel for a new Fairy Tail Abridged series and by the end of May at least 4 episodes will have been put up for Fairy Tail Abridged, but along side FTA we plan on creating Psycho-Pass Abridged.
The two shows are quite different from each other, and Psycho-Pass' intense atmosphere will allow for an entirely different type of humor. Just like Fairy Tail Abridged, Psycho-Pass Abridged WILL be happening so when you audition you're telling us that you'll be available to work on Psycho-Pass Abridged for a long time. With that said, we don't expect you to give up every minute of your life for Psycho-Pass Abridged and when there's an issue meeting the deadline, all we request is a heads-up so we know what we need to be working on in the meantime.
When you audition you are allowing us to use your takes, whether you're cast or not. If we can, we'll give you a heads-up on if we might use a take or two. Also, this will be a fairly explicit Abridged series so, be prepared for swearing and typically inappropriate content.

He's a cyborg! Senguji's personality in one word would be a sociopath. He has no regard for human life, and cures his boredom by staging "fox hunts" in which he is the hunter hunting his prey, along with his two hunting robot dogs. He also likes to keep trophies of his hunts.
"It's said that God created man in his own image. Isn't it about time for us humans to be a little more like God?"
"It can be said that the history of science is a history of the expansion of the human body's functionality, in other words, the history of man's cyberization."
Karanomori is a glamorous sort of woman. She is also quite sluggish and hates the MWPSB because she thinks they overwork her. However, Karanomori also has a sympathetic side, as shown during her private conversations with Tsunemori and Kunizuka.
"You know I CAN do it, but you should also know that I won't until you tell me how awesome I am.""I'm working on it. (after being asked to work faster) I'd love to, but there appears to be an idiot distracting me."
"And the world's most gorgeous genius has found the answer yet again! Way to go me."
Makishima is a humanist on the dark side: someone hopelessly in love with cruelty, savagery and all the worst aspects of human nature with no qualms about witnessing or causing others' suffering. He has the ability to manipulate people to do his bidding, possessing both uncommon charisma and a true gift for narrative.
"Everyone is alone. Everyone is empty. People no longer have need of others. You can always find a spare for any replacement. Any relationship can be replaced."
"Say, what do you think Kogami? After this, will you be able to find a replacement for me?"
Voice: Calm, but snobby. Possibly british.
Mido has a passion for avatars, worshiping them with utmost loyalty. Makishima finds him interesting because Mido "could become anyone," though this seemed to be only because Mido, himself, was "no one" and could pretend to be anyone else flawlessly. In addition to exhibiting heartless cruelty towards the avatar owners he kills, also displayed a general lack of sympathy for anyone and only begins to show fear just before he's killed.
"I'm going to so enjoy killing you."
"(Overly intense) Let me think while I... Blend these tomatoes."
"Y'know we could clean it up using the body's clothes. I'd rather not stain my
favourite towel."
Voice: Low and Gruff
Masaoka is rather laid back in his approach to work and often accepts things as the way they are. Even in stressful situations, he tries to use reason above action and keeps a cool head. He also relies on the Dominator's rating of a suspect before making decisions about victims and criminals.
"The dominator is talking to you, ignore what it says when you first retrieve it. It can be a bit of a bitch sometimes."
"...and you can just forget it all. What you really need to know is Code Black; when you trip over your shoelaces, Code Brown; When we run out of coffee…"
"What the hell are you doing, Akane?"
It's a gun. It talks. It can also be a bit of a pain in the ass. And it's also very frank and often sarcastic.
"Hello, welcome to Sword Art Online. You can never escape it, Inspector Akane Tsunemori. But you can go shoot people with your dominator. Your usage has been approved."
"Yeah, don’t shoot this guy. He’s clean. The trigger is now locked."
"Crime coefficient 127.4. Definitely a criminal... If he wasn’t an enforcer. Trigger unlocked, fire at will."
When working, Kogami keeps a level head and doesn't let emotions cloud his judgment, no matter what situation he's in. The way he deals with investigations leaves even the best Enforcers impressed and appalled, as he usually uses risky methods to solve them. However, despite his mostly serious personality, Kogami has a sense of humor and finds it amusing to tease rookie Inspector, Akane Tsunemori, especially about how she once shot him with a Dominator.
"But when it comes to what it says about shooting people, always obey. Feel free to shoot us too, after all we are your subordinates."
The gun says to shoot. (Kogami looks at his gun and shrugs) I’m going to shoot.
Careful what you wish for.
Tsunemori is quite idealistic and naive at the time of her recruitment. As time goes on, however, she is revealed to be intelligent, compassionate and insightful as an Inspector. She agonizes over the purpose of her existence, which is an uncommon trait when compared to others. Tsunemori is polite and respectful, but can sometimes be stubborn and angry with those with whom she strongly disagrees.
"Oh God damn it. Seriously? How did you get here so quickly? I was just called like ten minutes ago."
"I am Inspector Akane Tsunemori sir - oookay....."
"(Nervous and being very matter of fact) Stop right there! I am pointing my gun at you so don’t run!"
Her hair is black... her skin is pale. Her name is Oryo. She's definitely an oreo. She shares the same calmness and aloofness as Makishima, though she is less mature in comparison. Beneath her veneer of grace, however, Oryo is a sinister young lady who especially likes themes of cruelty. And she's an Oreo.
"My father used dismembered bodies as the subject of many of his drawings."
"I think even now that he was indeed a great artist. Especially because of that, I really can't forgive him for abandoning that duty halfway through."
"Yesterday, my father passed away. He's been as good as dead for a while, but finally even his heart gave in."
Rina Takizaki is a band singer, unauthorized by the Sibyl System. An old friend of Yayoi Kunizuka
"Strength is necessary, it's useless to just have fun!"
"(Overly enthusiastic) What's up Yayoi?"
