{MAIN CHARACTER}

He is the son of a wealthy family and the heir of the C&R Inernational company. He is always on business trips and usually talks about work or mature topics, which is why he doesn't know about youth slang or commoner food. He does, however, sometimes speak eccentrically. Jumin loves to talk about his cat, Elizabeth 3rd, and how beautiful she is and is very much a doting parent. However, because of past experiences, Jumin is emotionally closed off and is distrustful of women, having witnessed his father fall victim to many gold-diggers who never loved his father, only his money.

Jumin is a quiet, serious and cautious man who prefers to act mature. Despite this, he is interested in young slang and loves to talk about cats, especially his own, Elizabeth 3rd. In fact, in his own way, his general cadence will give off that of a child's. He also enjoys teasing Zen about his cat allergy in the chat room. He is often surrounded by rumors concerning his sexuality because of his complete lack of interest in women, leading the press and other members of the RFA to tease him for possibly being gay. He views situations objectively, and wants others to be like him. He is a workaholic, which is shown through how he works Jaehee Kang to the bone; however, Jaehee states that Jumin's workload is ever greater than hers. Jumin disregards others' opinions of him, so he lives his life how he thinks is right.

Jumin does not care for relationships because he thinks it isn't worth it, preferring to focus on his work and cat instead. This gives others the impression of a cold man or even a robot. He also keeps his work relationships strictly professional, believing that his employees will do anything as long as they are paid to. As Jumin has a high status, he lives luxuriously, but he hates people that only like him for his money. Jumin has his own sense of humor which most of the RFA members do not understand, and at most times, isn't very funny but he doesn't care. Despite his cold and objective perspective, Jumin treasures the members of RFA so much that when needed, he would use his authority to help them without hesitation.

It is revealed in Jumin's Route, that he is not so cold and unfeeling as he portrays himself; instead, he is a man who feels rather too much but, for the sake of efficiency, he pushes his feelings down, repressing them and using work and his cat to distract himself. This has led to Jumin to develop severe, crippling loneliness and he does not know how to work through it, viewing himself as a "monster", thinking himself to be an ugly creature because of how lonely and paranoid he is. To cope, he projected this loneliness onto Elizabeth the 3rd and is overcome with despair when he admits that he knows their relationship is a lie, that she does not understand him and never will. Jumin is also hinted at having feelings for Rika as he believed she could see into him and see the "tangled" emotions without becoming disgusted. However, even when Rika asks if they would have ended up together, Jumin is visibly uncomfortable at the joke and tells her not to say things like that as it makes him uncomfortable. Because of never having been in a relationship before and being forced to repress his emotions, Jumin's relationship with the MC is rocky at first. However, with the MC's help, Jumin overcomes all his fear and anxiety and "untangles" his emotions that were knotted for many years.

{SIDE CHARACTER}

He is an informant and he is currently assigned to be 707's handler.

Vanderwood has a relaxed but sarcastic attitude when interacting with MC as he jokes around and thanks her if the player calls him handsome.

He's shown to be very afraid of the agency and what they can do, telling the player and Saeran to run away and not get affiliated with them in any way. Despite this, he says that he's isn't going to do anything extra for the agency because he's "too lazy".

Vanderwood sees himself as "not a good person", saying that he's selfish, ruthless, and coldblooded. If the player compliments him by calling him nice or if she implies that Vanderwood cares about Seven, he always denies it. He's still empathetic though, as he agrees to help Saeran and the player save Seven after seeing the two twins interact.

He's also clever - he came up with the plan to save Seven, which included planting fake information and anticipating the agency's moves.

Mother Choi was the alcoholic mother of 707 and Ray/Saeran as well as the former mistress of the current Prime Minister of South Korea/presidential candidate of the current election.

She passed away after being killed a year and a half before the events of the animation.

Rika's Mother is a minor character who appeared in Rika Behind. She is Rika's cruel and abusive adoptive parent. She was convinced that Rika was Satan and possessed and that she needed to be exorcised by the Pastor.

Chief Kim is stated to be an extremely pragmatic and logical person. He's mentioned to be mercenary like when it comes to business, being willing to use his son to make a better deal.

Chairman Han is noted to be a very doting father and lover, wasting no expense to shower his lover and son with gifts. However, he does have a womanizing problem and being faithful to his wife.

Jumin has mentioned that his father is normally logical with a business orientated mind, but whenever the chairman is involved with a woman, particularly a new girlfriend, the older Han loses his sensibilities and becomes too lost in his new lover. During these times, Chairman Han often creates new projects (ex: cafe project), buys expensive gifts (ex: diamond encrusted Duffany's bag), and basically does whatever his lover asks in order to please his new girlfriend and will have little care for what happens to his son and the company.

In any route he is Jumin's general mean of getting around, to go anywhere Driver Kim will drive Jumin there. In some instances, he is the one who will pick up and drop MC off at places.

He is shown to be kind, patient, and willing. However he can be competitive, especially when it comes to racing.

Not much is known about Yoosung's mother, except that she works for the government, and rarely sees her son after he had moved out. She usually cleaned, cooked and took care of him like a mother should, when she had the time.

She was a "Home Economics" teacher for 24 years at public schools. She is a licensed realtor, the president of the Hansorum Apartment community, and the director of the Phoenix Senior Citizens Center. She has a certificate in cooking and multiple other fields, and is a member of multiple golf clubs and fitness clubs. She also holds soap making classes.

She's a recent college graduate. She was never really popular or unpopular in school, she had good sets of friends but didn't really hang out with anybody until high school. Was very wild in elementary school, quiet and shy in middle school and ended up becoming a good mix of both in high school. She's taking the opportunity to explore the world after graduating.

She's very gullible, not super good at reading peoples' reactions to what she says but is percieved as very strong by her family and friends.

{MAIN CHARACTER}

He is a hacker who can quickly find information on anything he can get his hands on.

For the most part, Seven displays a happy-go-lucky, outgoing, and very bizarre personality. He frequently plays pranks on Yoosung via chat room, makes fun of the other members (and himself), and, in response to just about anything, will respond with a series of "lol"s. He's essentially your typical jokester who loves cars (he owns multiple) and holds a passion for hacking.

However, the player's first impression of Seven is not the "real" Seven. Outside the chat room, and behind the humorous front he puts up, Seven is actually quite depressed and serious, and he refuses to believe that anything good can happen to him. This is due to his past and his profession, as he thinks that he will endanger anyone he gets close to. This fear is brought up very often during the events of his route, usually when he is trying to push the player away.

Though he rejects the player at first, it is evident that he values them quite a lot and very readily displays affection when convinced that the player will accept him regardless of how he is. After his route, he returns to his previous self, just toned down a little bit.

It is also mentioned that he is Catholic and later in his route he shows his religious values.

{MAIN CHARACTER}

Zen is a semi-successful actor/dancer/singer. He can come across as narcissistic about his looks, often posting selfies and exclaiming how handsome he is. However, while it may seem he cares about his appearance the most, he wants to be recognized and appreciated first and foremost for his career skills.

On the surface, Zen is known for being a very eccentric and flirtatious character. He will often talk about his looks, praising and complimenting himself for how attractive he is, as well as how talented he is when it comes to singing and acting. Zen tends to compare others to himself when it comes to looks, frequently telling Yoosung to work out to look half as good as he does. Despite this, Zen can become very loyal and caring, especially to those he cares about. In all routes, he cares deeply for MC. While Zen likes to compliment himself, he often flirts with MC. He usually calls them "sweetie" or "babe".

In conjunction, deep down Zen self doubts himself, wondering if people only see him for his looks, rather than his talents. He can be easily upset if something affects his career, almost entering a depressive state.

He is known for pursuing larger and better musicals, offering up smaller ones or turning them down if the opportunity presents itself.

Like many of the members, he has scars from his past which can't be forgotten.

She is the founder of the RFA and fiancée of V who tragically "died" 18 months before the events of the game.

Rika was known to the RFA members as strong-willed and charismatic woman who wanted to help those around her to the best of her abilities. Due to her incredible ambition for helping anyone in need she created the RFA to raise funds to donate to several charity organizations and give money to these who need the most. She touched hearts and improved the lives of countless strangers. She was also capable of hosting great parties and managing to invite a large number of guests from all different backgrounds thanks to her tremendous influence on other and splendid persuasiveness, which is mainly because of her phenomenal speech skills, described by others as “having a way with words”, even going as far as saying that she can make anyone follow her blindly in a matter of minutes simply by speaking to them.

Since she was abandoned and was repeatedly abused, tortured, and treated like a demon by her fervently religious adoptive parents. Rika is still suffering from the scars of her abusive upbringing, and the innumerous traumas she suffered that made her highly mentally unstable, paranoid, mistrustful, angry, inadequate, and violent, giving her a very low self-esteem, believing that she doesn't deserve to be loved, that she’s a devil who was born a ball of darkness, viewing herself as mere filth, and a stupid, good-for-nothing orphan.

She desperately craves loves from others. This draws her to V's photographic work which is subtextually about the unconditional love the sun provides, a kind of love she never experienced growing up and wishes to give to others so they won't suffer like she did.

As stated by her, it was painful to act like the person she wasn't, so she always found herself avoiding people who “lived in the light”. According to 707 and Ray/Saeran, she always looked uncomfortable around people that didn't need her help. And always looked scared that people will leave her, which is the main reason that driven her to use people’s trauma as a way to brainwash them into thinking Mint Eye is where they'll find happiness, so that they'll stay by her side.

Mika, who was Rika’s childhood friend, took advantage of her dreams to help others and manipulated Rika into thinking that her methods weren’t good enough and that she needed to do more to save others from the cruel world they live in, by nurturing their insecurities, giving love to the strong and not abandoning the weak. And thus the concept of Mint Eye was born.

Due to Rika’s fear of abandonment and not being loved, she always doubted V’s love for her. Her paranoia was worsened when Mika gaslighted Rika into thinking the V is a liar who only needs a victim to “play savior for” and that he will eventually leave her because of how dark she is. her condition worsened after Sally’s death, which she blamed herself for. only for it to be immensely intensified by the death of Mother Choi, which completely shattered her mentality.

after Mika’s death, Rika becomes extremely paranoid that Mika was right and that V was a hypocrite and that he never actually loved her. Which caused a huge fight between the two that led her to injure V’s eyes before fleeing to go after Mika’s plan to start the Mint Eye, to prove to herself and Mika that V will love her regardless, no matter what she does to him or other people.

Her fears greatly decayed her in morals and sanity. Subconsciously consumed by the anger and violence of the abuse she had suffered growing up, she becomes abusive to her own believers rationalizing it as "saving" them, due to her fragile ego. She inflicts her own trauma of abandonment and betrayal onto Saeran, whom she ends up manipulating and abusing the most for her own goals, to use him as a weapon, a slave that will do whatever she wants.

Rika’s fear-induced torture went to a greater extent in the later end of the animation. She goes as far as to kidnap the twins and sell them out to Saejoong Choi, the same person she was supposed to protect them from all these years, knowing how much trauma and pain he inflicted on his sons. In exchange for robbing the twins of their freedom and keeping them as her “own sons” to selfishly lives a “happy family life” with them. After multiple protests from the two, she drugs and chains the twins in V’s house, replicating the same abuse and fear their Mother and Father had put them through.

Rika regained her moral compass in several cases and grew to regret what she did to Saeran deeply. In the later end of the animation, she realizes her actions and that she should be condemned. She turns herself in to the law to repent for her actions.

She is the chief secretary in the C&R International company and works as Jumin Han's assistant. She is kind and hardworking.

Even though Jaehee is a fairly serious and independent business woman, she is very caring. Jaehee has her own sense of humour and knows how to have a good chuckle at herself and others. That being said, she likes things to be organized and kept in line (One of the reasons she doesn't like taking care of cats; the one hair she misses while cleaning up after them drives her mad). It's very frustrating to her when things do not go according to schedule or if she is saddled with unexpected extra work. But ever the responsible one, she always comes through and deals the best she can despite the challenges her boss and friend Jumin always throws at her both in work and personal life.

{MAIN CHARACTER}

He is the current head of the RFA, however is often offline because of his trips as a photographer and his blindness. He was the fiancé of Rika, and fell into a state of depression after her death, but did not show it.

V is a person who often works with Seven together and keeps things as a secret to the RFA members. He is also childhood friends with Jumin, as Jumin has talked about both of them having used to go to the same church and V talking about their schooling times together.

V is a person who respects one's privacy. This can be seen when he did not know Rika's password even though the apartment was under his name. He is also the type who keeps everything to himself, to the point where he would rather live with the burden of all his secrets than tell the other RFA members. He did not tell Seven all his secrets until he had no choice. Also, Zen says that although V is famous within the photography industry, he is not well known amongst the public since he does not like being talked about.

Jumin has also stated that V is timid and faint-hearted, saying that if someone were to be against hosting the party again, V would talk about not hosting the party again. This implies that he is a people-pleaser and is sensitive toward the opinions of others, which can contribute to why he is a very private person.

In addition, he is a very loyal person. Although Rika suffered from depression and paranoid delusions with her twisted personality, he never left her and even said, "Even if you strangle my neck, blind my eyes and break my limbs... I will still love you."

V is also someone who hates getting innocent lives involved in his problems. He became a mole in Mint Eye in order to watch over Rika so she wouldn't target the other RFA members. He feels extremely guilty over Rika brainwashing Saeran, Seven's innocent younger twin brother, and begs Rika not to involve any more innocent lives in her goal at Mint Eye. He was also concerned about the main character's safety; if he hadn't accepted her into the RFA in the prologue chat, V believed she would've been targeted by Rika as a result.

When he was in high school, V's personality was very different from his current one. He was extremely pragmatic and had similar values to his father. He also looked down on artists who valued abstract ideals over success and lived empty, desolate lives; seeing them as pathetic. He believed that he needed brilliant accomplishments (financial and social success) before he could begin discussing abstract values.

He is the identical twin brother of 707 and a believer of the organization and cult Mint Eye

He is introduced as Ray, a game developer who enthusiastically wants the player to try their game and leads her to an undisclosed location in order to do so.

The MC (Page in the animation's case) becomes the major focus of Ray who's obsessed with keeping the MC by his side and secretly manipulating her to join Mint Eye. He explains he's an app developer and needs MC's help to test "his game" (which is actually not a game but the RFA chat app itself). He tries to trick MC into thinking the characters in the game are AIs programmed by himself and incites her into making them reveal their secrets. He has a welcoming and charming demeanor towards her and is very open about showing affection. Besides being focused on tending to the player's comfort inside Magenta, he's an excellent hacker and programmer. He loves gardening and knows the symbolic meaning of each flower. He also enjoys cooking. However, he's also highly possessive of the player and deeply afraid of losing her which leads him to manipulate.

Later, it's revealed Ray is an alternate personality, created by Rika during Mint Eye's cleansing program. The other personality, Saeran, is very aggressive, arrogant and demeaning; the complete opposite of the old Saeran's delicate and gentle self before his induction to Mint Eye. This Saeran also has no qualms about being a brute to V and other believers, forcing the elixir on them and openly degrading the MC with insults and ridicule. In his own route, he resorts to starving her (reminiscent of his own mother's torture) and mocking her in the chatroom.

The two personalities are aware of each other and seem to be able to communicate with one another. Saeran thinks lowly of Ray and considers him weak while Ray is terrified of Saeran taking over. As hackers, Ray and Saeran have different skill sets. Ray's skills are more meticulous and considered better than Seven. Saeran is significantly less careful and more rushed with his hacking. On the last days of Ray's route and V's AE, both personalities integrate again and become one. In Ray's route, Saeran still goes by both names but Saeran ends up to be the most commonly name in the later end of the animation. His hacking skills are still known to be exceptional.

In the later end of the animation, Saeran's demeanor changes to be that of a very loving boyfriend towards the MC. He fills her with compliments, sees her as his salvation and guiding light and stubbornly wants to do what it takes to sacrifice himself for her (and by extension his brother). In bad ends, it's shown he easily puts her own happiness above his to the point he foregoes his own wishes and wellbeing to make her happy. As for his brother, he regains his love for him back, claiming he always nurtured affection for him in the corner of his heart even when he was blinded by rage due to Rika's lies.
