Project Overview

Hi there! Welcome to Sparkling Nebula! Over here, we want to do an English Fandub of all of Project Sekai: Colorful Stage (feat. Hatsune Miku)'s content. This includes things like the story, songs, and more!

How do I audition? What are the requirements?

Basically, all you need to do is submit a recording for the things below! However, what we ARE looking for is someone with . . .

  • A Discord Account (We'll be running on a Discord Server mostly! This is our Discord link: https://discord.gg/j2W2e6tBsQ)

  • Decent Mic Quality / Little Background Noise (For VA'S)

  • Someone who can send things on time and communicate with directors when extensions are needed (Don't worry, we're not strict!)

  • Aged at least 13+ (This is to respect Discord's 13+ requirement.)

Some important notes from me (Pyrokurei) and galactic_kai (the other owner of this project!):

This is a non-paid project. We do wish we could compensate our lovely talent here, but unfortunately, we are just starting out on our project-leading journey, and therefore that isn’t an option as of now. I do apologize for any inconvenience.

For the auditions, you will see a set of lines for speaking, and a YouTube link for singing. Please do your best reading of the lines and try to sound as close to the character as you can.

For those of you wanting to audition as editors and mixers: Please send at least 3 30 second to 1 minute 30 second clips showing your work. We don’t mind watermarks so long as they don’t take up the whole screen.

For those of you wanting to audition as artists and translyricists: Please include at least 3 examples of your work. We prefer finished pieces. It can be old, but not older than like 3 years or something. We do not permit any form of AI art.

For those of you wanting to audition as an NPC/extra VA: Please send in at least 3 different speaking samples, preferably showing off different emotions,. You may be chosen to voice multiple background characters. We are looking for both masculine and feminine voices.

  • Callback Information

    We plan on having different waves for this project so that way we don't overwhelm ourselves with casting 20 different people at once!

    Our deadline from when we're closing auditions for certain characters (which characters will be disclosed at a later time!) this time around is April 30th, 2025 at 6PM EST!

    After this, we will host a callback period for 1 week (we will offer extensions if you really need it because we know life can happen), in which we'll give you a set of lines and/or lyrics + a song (depending on if you auditioned for singing and/or speaking). These will be sent out by May 1st, 2025!

I would recommend to try to capture Miku’s bubbly, cheerful energy. She’s a virtual idol and is clearly having fun with her performances. Try to capture that as best you can in your auditions.
