Library of Ruina Animatic & ENG Dub - Hana Association Reception
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Library of Ruina is a deckbuilding turn-based RPG created by the Korean indie game developer studio Project Moon. It is the sequel to the studio's first game, Lobotomy Corporation. If you'd like to learn more about the game, here's the game's Steam Page and a small presentation I created to link people to who are interested in the game. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROJECT WILL SPOIL YOU FOR KEY ELEMENTS OF THE GAME.
Anyways - hello! My name is Jona, and I'm currently creating an animatic for one of my favorite sections of dialogue in the game. I thought it would also really help (and be fun) to have an English dub to accompany it.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS & NOTES
Before submitting an audition, please meet the following requirements:
- Please have a Discord account. Just so I'm able to communicate with you and the other actors in one space!
- A decent microphone with no background noise or white noise. Please note that quality of recording will be taken in account when I go through auditions!
- Max of 3 takes per each audition line.
- You can audition for more than one character! I know there's only three roles, but if you're willing to audition for another character, be my guest!
- Obviously, this is for fun, and I will not set any hard deadlines. Just let me know if there will be any significant delays with your lines!

From the Wiki: "Roland is one of the main protagonists, a playable character in Library Of Ruina and the servant of Angela, following his story in the Library across the game. He used to be a Grade 9 Fixer of a one-man Office before he wandered into the Library."
Roland has a laid-back personality with his main catchphrase being, "This is this, that is that". He's a jaded war veteran who has seen all kinds of violence since he was young, allowing him to stomach much of the gut-wrenching horrors of the City. Much of his dialogue is sarcastic in nature and always tries to make light of precarious situations. He has a rather deep and deadpan voice to pair with his witty remarks to bounce off the Director of the Library, Angela.

"Yeah, that! We were just about done with it, and then your arm almost got caught in a blender at the last moment."
"I know. Both of us have gone too far down our roads. It was nice talking to you after a long while though, Olivier."
From the Wiki: "Angela is the main female protagonist of Library Of Ruina. Formerly the assistant of the Manager of Lobotomy Corporation, she is an AI who has since become the creator and director of the Library, in the hopes of ultimately becoming human and finding freedom in the outside world."
Angela is a very strict, straightforward, and logical person, as she is an AI. She does not like verbose speech and does not beat around the bush in her dialogue. Her words are sharp and concise. Despite her cold demeanor, she is a very naïve person. She has been sheltered in a laboratory for, as she was programmed to perceive it as, 1 million years. Because the white walls of the labratory was all she knew in that period of time, her social skills are clumsy, often seeming weird, cold, or offensive to others. Her naïve nature is often compared to that of a star-child, her eyes always sparkling with interest whenever people talk to her about the City outside of the laboratory and the Library.

"I'm sick of being betrayed. I'll make anyone who tries to do so pay the price."
From the Wiki: "Olivier is a Fixer of Hana Association South Section 3"
Olivier is Roland's long-time partner (this is an actual quote from the game). In contrast to Roland, Olivier is very calm and collected man who prioritizes his work above all else. Despite this, he will still go out of his way and break a few rules if it meant helping out a friend. He puts a lot of value in his friendships and fondly remembers the time he had with Charles' Office, his old 'mercenary' group. Olivier is a cautious man, usually opting to take the most efficient and safe course of action in any situations. Because of this, he is usually the person who has to tug on people's collars to prevent them from doing anything reckless. But this prudence of his is also his downfall - he isn't someone who would plan to take risks. As he puts it in the game, "I had the prudence, and you (Roland) had the unhesitating action. We helped each other through our strengths, and we could just live on by dealing with matters at hand back in the day".
