The youngest servant in the Phantomhive manor, a gardener. Well he’s trying his best to be one. Can you blame him? This loyal bundle of joy is doing his best for his you master, all while having the time of his life in the outdoors. Sure he can be forgetful at times, have some emotional outbursts, be a bit reckless if he forgets to control that superhuman strength of his. In the end, he enjoys this job he has with colleagues he considers close.

Don’t blame him… He’s living the dream he never even once thought of having to begin with.

VA’s:

• For voice range, I like the idea of a bit lower voice to be in comparison to the original Japanese dub.

• In tone, Finny gives off golden retriever energy. He has his outbursts of a teen: so you can add a bit of whiny like the English dub does on Finny, just don’t go overboard with it. 

Finny will have a different range of emotions fitting of an adolescent. I need a VA who can do all of that without having their mic peaking or needing to hold back: the only exception is being that a mic’s peak audio will be used on purpose. A Received Pronunciation is optional 

Note: despite the role being recurring; the VA will have the most lines other than Sebastian and Ciel.

Recurring

Phantomhive’s one and only personal chef! Who… Can’t help but wreck havoc in the kitchen. Whenever he tries to take charge in making meals, the contents occur: an idea comes up, explosives or military weapons are used to either revolutionize cooking or fasten the process, an explosion then fire follows, and then their head butler Sebastian always ends up making the food for their young master.

Maybe save those weapons for when we need your soldier expertises Baldo.

VA’s:

• For voice range, I want around the same in which English Dub sounds slightly deeper than sub provides

• In terms of his tone: I say he speaks outwardly in a way, having that level headed and tough mindset from being a veteran. His sense of responsibility matches his master and head butler whenever they’re not present with the group of Servants.

This character will take a similar approach on how the English dub provides Baldo with a rough or gruff like voice. So lessen or provide different takes on the level of raspiness, not going too beyond what I’m looking for.

I’m not sure how Baldroy would sound without a RP. So for now: So I’ll lean in letting the VA’s not be required for one. An RP is optional.

Main (Manga)

The child behind the pact with a demon. Earl of the Phantomhive Estate and the Queens guard dog in the underworld.

A kid who has gone through torture, humiliation, and suffering, now seeks revenge for himself. Since that night his manor and family had gone up in flames, he now searches to find those to blame. All so he could provide the same treatment the young boy had gotten from them.

But in doing so, he must juggle his two high status roles: have himself take responsibility of an Earl and head of the manor with duties to manage , and work in the underground layers that society has hiding which the Queen of England needs help regulating.(All with the exception of our lovely silly butler to aid him!)

All despite how futile his life will be. Giving up his soul at such a young age.. from a demon he named after his dog. How amusing..

THIS WILL BE A BACKUP/ MINOR ROLE. THE VA WOULD LIKELY BE PRESENT FOR HIGHER QUALITY VIDEOS, MANGA PANELS HAVING THE WHOLE CIEL MANGA PLOT PRESENT, OR WHEN CALLED FOR!

VA’S:

• In terms of voice range, I’m wanting around the direction the English dub provides if not a smidge younger sounding. Don’t go too close to the range Sub Ciel is at: It’s where my R! Ciel's voice will be if we hit some manga panels.

• Tone: I admire how expressive sub is for Ciel. So maybe be somewhere near it or in the middle if we’re comparing sub and dub Ciel. His personality shown can vary with his statuses he bears. For the public image: Ciel sounds respectful and polite. He could be more serious and blunt when dealing with business partners he isn’t fond of, or be more colder with a darker tone when he’s taking the role of the Queen's watch dog. When he’s more comfortable with his environment is when he loosen up, having traits of an adolescent child be more clearer on the adult act he plays.

I’m best wanting to find someone with a good quality mic as disclaimer mentions. Along with: someone who can show vast emotions without holding back (shouting, screaming, crying) and experience in Received Pronunciations. Be aware that I’ll be more picky in this role just like I am with Sebastian’s. 

Main role

The ‘man’, the demon, the hell of a butler. Sebastian Michaelis is the name given by his contractor, a young earl who has a dark and treacherous backstory. His deal matches the occupation a demon was ordered to be: a flawless human butler serving the child and the Phantomhive estate. He also acts as the head staff member to a.. peculiar few odd servants he was tasked with hiring (for good cause). The earl’s head butler is tasked with a boatload of duties: Maintaining the manor, watching over some clumsy, reckless and naive servants, keep upright his lord’s schedule while ensuring the boys safety as well as following orders to not just what that young earl so desires; but to also help him reach every step closer towards the goal he set on the contract: to whoever ‘embarrassed’ Ciel Phantomhive, make them face the same humiliation and torture that boy has went through… in exchange of patiently waiting and ensuring to acquire that insolent boy’s soul to feast upon.

Overall: He is simply one hell of a butler.

VA’s: 

• In terms of voice range, provide a deeper register than how the original dub portrays him. Not to say I want someone to sound like the English dub’s voice, I actually want that register toned down a notable amount if we want to compare to that. 

• For tone lean in on how the sub version has Sebastian be notably expressive. He could act so sincere when he’s torturing or getting to finish some poor bystander, or simply be putting his elegant butler facade on; & if he feels disdain on whatever that brat of his lord is making him do, he’ll at least have some noticeable small change in tone 

Sebastian Michaelis is the head butler for Ciel and his estate; meaning his behaviour reflects to whom he’s serving, an earl who has close ties with the Queen of England. He’s mysterious, no one knows aside from Ciel that he’s a demon. I would prefer the VA to have a good quality mic so we can hear that lovely voice, and in particular, someone to have experience with received pronunciations. The reason I’m asking for the last part despite knowing that historically speaking servants didn’t have RP’s, is since I think it just fits Sebastian more as a character in terms of being head staff and not human. Gives his character more off putting.

Minor

Lady Elizabeth Midford, betrothed to her cousin Ciel Phantomhive. Although she may seem like your average cheerful and energetic teen girl who loves anything cute. But on the inside, she’s strong willed, an expert swordswoman, and wishes to be capable of protecting Ciel all while Victorian society’s standards have her set out to be; a submissive wife who needs protecting from her espoused.

Slay girlboss.

VA’s:

• For voice range, I don’t have much of a preference so long as it’s somewhere around her original and dub voice, maybe aiming a bit lower if compared to her Japanese. 
• For tone, she’s vastly expressive, well mannered, and lady-like in a Victorian society. I would recommend noting that in her dub voice.

As stated on her description, she’s a bit of a more complex character than being this naive yet well mannered young lady on the outside. Some lines can have her feel expressive when she is able to loosen up with people like Ciel and family, others when she is in a more public audience has her tone down her energy a bit. Since this character is depicted as a noble, a received pronounced voice is required.
