Project Akari is a a slice of life/romance esque visual novel that is currently in development. Of course Project Akari isn't its actual name, it's a place holder until I can get a good name for it. I have set an end date for auditions and that will be Saturday March 28th, 2020. I still have a few more roles to add but I will add those soon. So for now, good luck and have fun!
Synopsis:
After a massive collision in early April, Kuro Takahashi and Shiro Saito are sent into comas and placed into a connected dream.. However, neither of them are aware of this and they continue to live out their lives as first year high schoolers, that is, until they both wake in hospital beds and realize everything they'd done in the past year had just been a dream.

Shiro is the main character and the character we follow throughout the story. Shiro is in class 1-A and comes off as the "quiet and smart" character, but in reality, she's quiet because she doesn't like anyone, she speaks with slang terms, can be loud and obnoxious, is easily annoyed and aggravated, very hard to please, and very defensive about specific topics. Her voice shouldn't be too high, I'd say not to high, but also not too low as well.

Kuro is the second main character in this story. When you first meet Kuro, he seems like a genuinely happy, regular guy. He was diagnosed with clinical depression at the age of 12 and was put on medication for it. To keep his friends from worrying about him, he kept up his cheery personality. They go along with it, even though they know it's just an act. Kuro is very quiet and doesn't have the balls to stand up to anyone stronger than him, which makes him an easy target for both Shiro and Haruto's teasing. However he knows they're just teasing and is always able to brush it off.
Kuro's mother died while giving birth, which gave him this mindset that he was the one that ended his mothers life prematurely. Kuro is reminded daily of his mothers death by his father being unable to let go and his habit of bringing up that day.
That's not true. I believe everyone has some good in them.
B-but it's true... I killed her. I'm the reason my mother is dead...

Akira is just your average high school student. He's an average witted boy, in class 1-C. He loves video games and reading manga and is basically the biggest nerd ever, he also loves to sing. He has a great family life, with two loving and supportive parents, most of the time. His parents don't like that he's always playing games, but they approve on his singing hobby as it's a better output for him. Akira also has a twin, Aru. Aru is the most important thing to him. He made a promise to his family to protect his twin. That promise is the thing that keeps him bound to his sibling.
Akira is a very energetic boy. He's very passionate about the things he loves and he's not afraid to show it. He's also not afraid to show when he's angry. His voice is in the medium range.

Despite his way of speech, Akihiko is actually a bright young man. Akihiko loves art. Art is his only hobby and he basically spends every hour not doing school work or sleeping, on his pieces. He has a favorite to draw. It's a specific tree in the park that he has dubbed his "workspace" nobodies allowed to sit in his workspace except for him. He has an older sister currently in university, so he doesn't get to see her all that much. His father owns a bookshop in Shibuya and his mother works full time as a detective. His best friend is Aru Araki.
Akihiko can be quite loud at times. He's very easily trusting of people, which Aru says that will only lead him to a world of disappointment and heartbreak. He stutters to all hell when he gets flustered. His voice range is medium to low.

Yuki Yamamoto is the son of a very successful accounting firm. Growing up, Yuki had to be taught to inherit his fathers business. So for him, it's always training day in and day out. Yuki is a brilliant young man, making top in his class in his first year in high school. Yuki intends to make his father proud of him, as their relationship hit a small wall when he found out Yuki is gay.
Yuki is a very loud person. He has a hard time keeping to himself sometimes. He loves to make everything extremely extra and over dramatizes it. His voice is in the high range for a male.

Yuta is an extremely quiet young man. He is also very sad most of the time. His parents are the least supportive of him being gay. Due to this, Yuta is always a sour person. He's angry at himself and his parents and sometimes he can be sarcastic to everyone around him if he's in a bad mood. He sounds depressed all the time and seeing him smile is almost an impossibility. His parents completely forgot about his existence after his older brother, Makoto, passed away. Makoto was the one who gave Yuta his favorite sweater and the only one in his family who accepted his sexuality.. He doesn't have a clue about what he wants for the future, so life isn't on his side at the moment. His voice is on the deep side.
Ah, sorry. I'm Yuta Tanaka. That's about it.

Goro comes off as a polite, pleasant young man when you first meet him. When you get to meet him, he starts to show his true side; cocky, arrogant, and sarcastic. He acts very petty when it comes to his sister, Maki, because he's older than her, but she's taller than him. To compensate for that, he uses his knowledge against her. But it's not just Maki that feels the brunt of Goro's personality. He has found someone else to bother. Both he and Aru have the same ambitions for the future. Both want to go into law enforcement as detectives. Aru is much more observant then Goro, so he likes to pull the "I'm taller and stronger then you, so, ha!" However, he is still capable of holding feelings of compassion towards others and is there for his friends when they need him.

Maki is a bubbly young girl. She's very positive about everything, excluding her twin brother Goro. She doesn't get along with him most of the time because of his habit of trying to prove himself better than her. Sometimes, Maki feels threatened by her brother by him using every flaw she has against her. Never the less, her positivity shines through her envy for her brother. Her positive attitude spreads to the others in the group most of the time, with her trying to lighten the mood when appropriate. She believes that violence is the last thing people should resort to when they're upset at something. In short, she's a complete pacifist. She believes that having love is, and will always be better than carrying around hate with you. She has a very kind heart and finds herself forgiving everyone, even if they severely hurt her, emotionally or physically.
Screw off, Goro! Lemme talk for myself, jeez. Hello! I''m Maki! I hope we can get along.

Don't get me wrong, I love my brother, but sometimes he's WAY too unbearable to be around. Like, god, can't he shut up for just a second?
Rika is a very peppy young girl. She loves to talk to anyone who is willing to listen to her. She can get very feisty and sarcastic at times, when she sees the opportunity, normally around her close friends. She's been best friends with Shiro since they were both 1st years in middle school. She's been friends with Akihiko even longer, them growing up in the same area helped spark a friendship from a young age. Rika is extremely overprotective of these two friends in particular as she sees them as family, and if someone dares to hurt one of them, they will feel the wrath of an extremely angry jock. Rika is apart of the track team at their high school and dedicates a lot of her free time to strength training. Some who have felt the wrath of Rika's punch have said it felt like being hit with a brick to the head. Surely a very sweet, yet very devastating person to befriend.

Haruto is one heck of a dude. An energetic idiot that just loves to talk. This man never shuts his mouth about anything and is extremely nosy. Due to this, not very many people like him, and his friends only merely put up with his bullshit. He thinks of himself as a charismatic ladies man, but in reality he creeps most girls out. He's a very competitive gamer and won't hesitate to pick a fight at the arcade over someone getting a higher score than him. He is a very petty person. His vocabulary is just as bad as Miu Iruma's from Danganronpa and he gets yelled at a lot for using his foul language at school. Haruto hates school and wants to drop out, but he knows his parents will kick his ass if he even tries. So, his motto is "grin and bear it, until you get home. Then you can die."
