Presenting Bob (ANIMATED EDUCATIONAL YT SERIES)
Project Overview
Bob is a strange, gelatinous alien who has been stranded on Earth and loves to learn stuff but most importantly needs to learn how to be a human! While he isn't that bright, he makes up for it in comedic genius. His speech is unintelligible, and his actions questionable, but everyone loves him, right?
'Presenting Bob' will follow Bob as he learns to be human. And through his adventures, he will make friends, learn about humans, and become an honorary human along the way. 'Presenting Bob' will be formatted as an educational Youtube channel, with weekly videos, similar to 'Meet Arnold' with hilarious adventures and funny moments all throughout. The videos will always contain Bob, and a narrator who guides Bob as he makes a lot of mistakes but tries to learn. While the channel's main focus is on teaching Bob how to be human while throwing in information every once in a while, sometimes, Bob will go on adventures such as 'Bob Goes Camping' or 'Bob Becomes An International Spy' which are designed to entertain the viewer while introducing interesting facts.
Currently, the project is looking for a narrator who is American or European with a soothing but sophisticated voice who will read scripts as they narrate the videos which will be released weekly. We are also looking for artists, animators, audio engineers, and writers. Artists will create concept art, possible merch, infographics, and more. Animators will animate the videos including Bob, the background, and such. Audio engineers will be tasked with creating sound effects and making viewers feel immersed in Bob's adventures. Finally, writers will help to write comedic yet educational scripts for our weekly videos that are 1/2 comedy, 1/4 information, and a whole 1/4 of Bob.

The narrator is a funny guy who likes to crack jokes as he narrates and teaches Bob. He is never one to be serious and is always sprouting a laugh and probably a smile despite being nameless and faceless. The narrator brings a funny and active light to Bob's life and is always there to help him whether Bob is learning how to build model rockets, become a French chef, or learn how to salsa dance.
The narrator is a long-term role and will maintain the role until the channel has stopped.

Muffins are a little-known treat here on Earth. They are a bit like you, they can be squished and well, that is about it. What is your favorite Earth fruit, oh right, you can't talk! *chuckle* Well, let's try them all!
Bob, you better watch where that knife is going, you might cut it off- oh dear. It seems Bob has sliced off his hand! Well, thankfully he can slip it back on but we Humans can't due to our needing for bones, flesh, and blood so always follow your basic knife principles- (only a small excerpt from the test script)
The script producer will be responsible for writing funny, educational scripts for weekly videos that show Bob learning how to be human. Scripts will include narration dialogue, descriptions of scenes, and descriptions of what is going on and such.

The illustrator will be responsible for creating conceptual character art for Bob, backgrounds, and more. The illustrator will also create the occasional infographic and potentially art for merch or media posts.

The music composer will create songs and soundtracks for videos. While plain-out songs won't be needed for the most part, the occasional background ambient music would be nice to have and would make the video more immersive along with having timed dramatic music for example.

The audio engineer will be responsible for creating all sound effects and editing the narrator's voice acting. Sound effects will be a major hook for the channel and immerse the viewer. Potential sound effects include knife on cooking board, moist slapping, eating, and way more. The effects needed will be a large amount and will vary a ton from general sounds to oddly specific sounds.

The video editor will be responsible for compiling everything into cohesive Youtube videos with neat and cartoony graphics. You will be responsible for putting in music, visuals, and voices, and implementing infographics and artwork. Style inspiration can come from the 'Meet Arnold' channel on Youtube.

They will animate Bob and his adventures, creating enticing and cartoony flows for the animations, and animate the backgrounds to make feelings of liveliness in the picture. The animation will include anything from Bob cooking to Bob bungee-jumping himself, and more all in a crazy fashion.

Animator 2 will function as the secondary animator to work on separate parts of the video or varying tasks or help and assist Animator 1.
