Project Overview
Welcome to the official CCC for PDR-1
PDR-1 is a fanmade Danganronpa killing game set before the events of the tragedy. The project will most likely become an animated-like-the-games YouTube series, however a change may occur during the process of creating it.
The project is still very much a work in progress, but we will be adding different roles for people to audition as for when It is finally started.

Added new roles and fixed some issues
I've added 2 of the male characters to the list to audition for. I've also gone through the descriptions and info on certain characters to fix a few errors I had realized after making them. (Ex. Natsuki being labeled as a leading role)

Akami is the SHSL Pop Culture Enthusiast, which has made Akemi a character who tends to be a bit imaginative. She is smart and caring, however she does tend to daydream very often about stories and other things. Before Hope's Peak, she ran quite a few popular blogs that discussed many famous series and was a notable creator on quite a few platforms. Despite all this, she seems to have trouble communication with people directly. Especially when annoyed, where she seems to act stern and has an unwanted rude attitude.
Akemi tends to have a very sweet, mid-high toned voice. Her voice should be generally calming or peppy.
Going to Hope's Peak Academy... It was always a dream of mine. I felt like going there made me a character in some movie or book.

Natsuki Hisakawa

Natsuki is a character who seems to have her mind all over the place, which is understandable for her talent of the SHSL Creative Genius. She excels at most if not all things considered creative, however she often times has trouble thinking more inside the box. She's admitted on multiple occasions that she doesn't find any use in organizing your thoughts "because then new ones will come and making new space is hard." She often says whatever comes to mind, even if its regarded as strange or off topic.
Her demeanor is necessarily very happy or energized, but she tends to break this persona every once in a while to display emotional distress she will feel.
Her voice should be generally mid-high pitched, and the words should be stretched out a bit along with having an excited tone.
I hope we all become friends soon! Otherwise it will be kind of awkward to paint us all together...
*Semi deadpan voice* I'm sorry I failed you... I never meant to... *starting to cry* P-please forgive me for this... I-I didnt meant it! *intense crying*

Kameyo first appears as an extremely anxious character who tends to keep quiet. However, while introducing herself, she gains an extremely dark tone as she introduces herself as the SHSL Cult Leader. She explains this as getting "an exciting rush of confidence and pride" from introducing herself in this manner. Along with this, she also addresses information that she does not believe to be true with a sassy and clarifying tone, but she is willing to admit if she's wrong.
Kameyo should have a voice that can go from quiet and timid to dark and creepy very quickly. The pitch should be generally mid-toned.
I-I don't see why you're talking to me... Huh? *sudden tone change to an ominous excited voice* you want to learn about my cult?
*completely serious but quiet tone* You cant put the blame on me here. I wouldn't harm someone unless the reason actually had purpose. Quite frankly, almost mindlessly killing someone around a bunch of very analytical people is just a futile and desperate attempt at a grab for freedom.
*sounding sort of doting* I mean... I love the organization I have going. *suddenly distressed undertones* but... I've been thinking about some of the things we do... The things we worship... And I wonder what just got me to make this.

Mio Oshiro is the SHSL Seamstress. She tends to not speak unless spoken to, often stating she is horrible at starting or joining conversations. She tends to push others away at times either in an attempt to push others away either in an attempt to fix things by herself to not bother people or just to stay away from others to have a more peaceful setting.
Mio's voice should have a higher pitch to it, and should be kept quiet in most situations.
Oh... H-hi. I suppose I'm here now. *nervous laugh*
Sewing is a great pass time... You can just... Quietly be there. Doing something you love while not being interrupted.

Yuuki Abe

Yuuki is the SHSL Therapist. However, despite her title, she tends to act cold or distant from others. She herself thinks this could have sprouted from many things, including a lack of learning regular social skills or a want to not get emotional attachment. Despite this issue, she seemed to quickly become friends with Natsuki. She explains this as just Natsuki spreading her friendly demeanor her way, but Natsuki says that Yuuki had actually started talking to her first.
Yuuki should have a soothing tone to her voice, and it should be low-mid pitched.
I'd like for you to talk to me only if you need a session of therapy. I dont tend to do well in regular conversation. Its nothing personal. I promise.
Ah. Yes, of course. I've seen things like this with previous patients.

Chou being the SHSL Martial Arts Coach tends to be able to easily fluctuate between extremely loud and extremely serious or more gentle in tone. She treats herself with a strict attitude, especially when having to figure something out or when working out herself. However, she's often able to act as just an extroverted person when regularly talking to anyone who's not just a student. She often explains how she'd "never back away from a challenge!" As a way to keep the spirits of her classmates up during the killing game. She mostly hints at this meaning "despite our situation, we shall all keep our heads up and make it out together."
Chou's voice should be able to fluently fluctuate between a wide ray of emotions in very small instances. The low-mid should generally be the pitch.
Put your mind to it! You'll end up doing it eventually if you work at it!
You all are extremely inspiring. When we get out of here, I'll use you guys as an inspirational story for my pupils!

Hanae Fujimoto

Hanae is a character who has a seemingly dark outlook on life. As the SHSL Guitarist, she often times states that her guitar is the only good part of her life at this point in time. When she finds a guitar during the story, she constantly carries it's case around, calling it "something to ward away the darkness.
Hanae seems to be on edge when around ever single character in the story, but seems alright with only a few people, as long as specific people aren't there.
Hanae could have any pitch to her voice, but should have a tone that makes her sound like she's trying to sound dark or ominous.
The guitar is an extension of my soul.
I mean... I can play any guitar. I just prefer to play my specific one.
Music just... Speaks for me. It can show so much emotion. So much of... Nevermind.

Hibiki Ikeda

Hibiki is the SHSL Storyteller. She's known for "exaggerating, adding, and removing details" in her stories retold from real life for added effect. Sometimes these added details are glaringly obvious, however there are times when someone has to listen closely for certain aspects and if she changes it.
However, despite this, she says she would never flat out lie with a story. She believes that you shouldn't completely lie about doing something, only bend the truth for the purpose of entertainment.
Hibiki should have a medium-high pitch with a semi-condescending tone.
I'm Hibiki Ikeda. Born in the wonderful fields of an American warzone. Ok maybe not.
A storyteller is supposed to over exaggerate details to make it interesting. A good storyteller knows how to while not making it obvious.

Hiroto is a guy who seemingly has his head so far in the clouds that he can never have a constantly running conversation. However, he seems to be able to talk about a few things for hours on end without stopping. Those few things are things he tends to call "station points" as they can get him "talking like a train." He also calls these subjects "probably the only way to be friends with me." As he notes that unless you're interested in them then you most likely would not find him to be an interesting friend. This sort of seems to hint at some issues he has with himself. As the SHSL Geologist, its obvious that one one of the "station points" is rocks and things like the Earth. However, as the story progresses, he begins talking more about people who've been kind to him even if he's a bit strange, especially including Jun. June and Hiroto, like Natsuki and Yuuki, seemed to click almost as soon as they met, and became friends quickly. Hiroto's almost constantly tired.
Hiroto's voice should be low-medium toned and also should have a very distracted tone.
Yeah, The Earth interested me and I pursued studies in it. Now I guess I'm here. Cool.
Got damn I love rocks rocks are the greatest and rock climbing is great and everything about a mountain is beautiful and should be treasured.

Masamitsu is an ass. Theres no way around it. As the SHSL Logical Genius, he views himself as superior to others based on intelligence. He would be extremely useful during trials if it weren't for the fact that he constantly kept quiet. He seems to act rude to everyone when he does talk to them, but acts especially terrible towards his sister Natsuki. He often expresses a hatred for her, stating "the only reason she ever got through life was because of me. She's aware of this." Despite these claims she often tries to talk to him normally, and gets extremely sad whenever pushed away.
The voice for Masamitsu should be low-medium pitched with a tone that constantly sounds either angry or annoyed and disappointed.

Michi Nakano

Michi tends to be a sweet and caring boy. He puts time and focus into everything he does, especially sculpting projects (considering that he is the Ultimate Sculptor,) and is usually determined to help. He tends to put an overwhelming amount of work on himself, and can often end up trying to help others as a counselor of sorts (much to Yuukis amusement.) He constantly wants to motivate people to go and work their hardest. This makes people enjoy his company, especially Chou. She becomes friends with him quickly due to his encouraging nature.
Michis voice should be soft but playful, and generally high.
