Project Overview
After losing both parents, Elias Bauer is raised by his uncle, Jimmy. On the anniversary of his mother’s death, a desperate experiment to reach her rips open reality and fuses him with the Aether — an ancient, limitless source of pure potential energy. He gains unimaginable power: strength beyond Superman, speed rivaling The Flash, telepathy, telekinesis, flight, near-invulnerability, and more. But absolute power comes with absolute weight. As fractures begin spreading across Philadelphia and dangerous new threats emerge, Elias must hide his identity while navigating senior year — first crushes, final exams, Sunday Mass, and the constant fear that he could destroy everything he loves with a single mistake. With breathtaking action, morally complex storytelling, and deep character drama, AETHER explores faith, grief, responsibility, and the terrifying cost of power in a world that isn’t ready for a teenage demi-god: Powerset.
So far, I am working on the script for a pilot episode and I have a general idea of what I want the characters to look like. If you are an animator or an artist, please audition because I truly believe that this series can be great, and that can only be achieved with a great artist/animator.
