Power Rangers SpectroForce
Project Overview
"When the Earth is plagued by the diabolical Shadow Lords, five teenagers (both with and without attitude) must step up and shine brightly as the Power Rangers SpectroForce."
For the third time (and the first time posting on CastingCallClub), we are looking for cast members for the audiodrama. We're having to recast a few roles since their actors have not responded, and a few were not cast in the last go around. In addition, a couple characters have been retooled, so they are not the same as their previous incarnations.
Please note that Skype is an absolute must for rehearsal and contact purposes. In addition, we want this to be of a decent, as-close-to-professional-as-possible quality, so please do not audition if you only have a cheapy mic that makes you sound like you're trapped on a dumpster on the moon.
(Word of advice: you can actually get a really good sound out of a standard USB Rock Band mic and a cheapo pop filter!)
Also, the third audition line for each role is us asking you to tell us about yourself. You are NOT supposed to actually read the line. Anyone who does not follow this direction will not be considered for the role.

Kevin Moore is Kayla’s adoptive father and Howard’s younger brother. One half of the operations for SpetroForce, mostly providing financial support, Kevin spends his days as the financial advisor of a major company. This has caused him to have to attend several business trips and not spend a lot of time with his daughter. One of the mentors for the team. Must be comfortable spouting technical and business jargon.

Far from the usual Pink Power Ranger, Sarah's a tough-as-nails goth who dabbles in anime and has a chip on her shoulder for authority figures. We would like the actress to be knowledgeable in Japanese pronunciation, even if they don't much care for anime.

A friend and colleague of the Moore Brothers, Keinfarbe assisted them in discovering and harnessing the power of the SpectroGems. He is known both for his calm intensity and his patience, as well as his favoritism with students like Bianca and Gavin. We want something authoritative, likely accented. Stern, but polite, around 50 years old.

Academy Prefect and star tennis player. After a monster attack ruins his date, he joins Wil in trying to figure out the Rangers’ identities. Picturing a sort of Christopher Massey-type voice for this character, though if we hear something that fits him better, that would be awesome!

We will of course need students to populate Stone Academy. Some roles will become recurring cast members as well. Improvisation is appreciated but not required.

Characteristics/Notes:
Academy gym teacher and basketball coach. Despises the Power Rangers for constant destroying parts of the school during fights but legitimately cares about helping students reach their athletic potential. Can be male or female, and must be comfortable with yelling a lot.
"What? No! Come on, we JUST had the gym polished! It's the last game of the season, for crying out loud!"
"100%? 110%? Forget those numbers. I want you to go above and beyond. I want your best to be on a scale not identifiable by human beings!"
