Project Overview
Rangers Go! | Power Metal Rangers E1 | Musical Audio Drama
A rag-tag group of heroes band together to fight evil and corruption across the galaxy, armed with hi-tech ranger suits and a transforming mech-ship powered by heavy metal music. Will you heed the call? Rangers go!!
We are currently casting for a number of voice acting roles for this pilot episode, some of which are likely to recur in future episodes in the series. The story is tied into the Power Metal Rangers super-group that just released it's debut single 'Rangers Go!', in which the official music video embedded in the post showcases the final battle scene in the episode. Join us on this wild space opera adventure as we go deeper into the story and expand it into a full cinematic audio drama of approximately 45 minutes!

Welcome to the LovAnaverse, a groundbreaking musical multiverse where stories, music, and community come together in an original shared universe. Music is a source of supernatural power in our universe, with rock, metal, and alternative music leading the charge - though many genres will have their place. Our goal is to create a vast array of living, breathing worlds where music, storytelling, and immersive experiences collide in cinematic audio drama episodes enhanced with art and animation. The experience gets even more interactive with the addition of our upcoming trading card game, featuring cards based on the stories.

A mad/evil alien/goblin scientist responsible for the creation of the giant Kaiju monster that is the primary threat in the story. He works for the Exzelsius Legion Syndicate and is directly subordinate to the Empress. This is a very over the top character that needs an equally over the top, cartoon-ish performance, possibly something similar to Mark Hamill's take on roles such as the Joker and Skeletor.

A cold, calculating evil Empress with a serpentine like quality. The 'big bad' villain in the story, in charge of both the Exzelsius Empire & The Exzelsius Legion syndicate. Looking for something similar to Rita Repulsa from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, but just a little more cold and sinister.

This is an experimental role for a robot cat that will be a prominent recurring role throughout the series. He only speaks in cat sounds, but in a conversational way like R2-D2, as the lead protagonist understands everything he says. The role would require someone able to make convincing cat sounds and adjust the tone to the context of the story. Below is an example passage for auditioning:
F0-M0: (anxious meow)
NATHAN: “What mission? Oh, the transmission you mean… Says I gotta go right now if I’m to do anythin’ about it…”
F0-M0: (But?) “meow?”
NATHAN: “I… I don’t know if I can do it…”
F0-M0: (Lots of insistent meowing & irritated cat sounds)
NATHAN: “Okay, okay! I’ll go. But there’s no way you’re backing me up on the ground, it’s way too dangerous, if anything happened to you I… Nevermind, it’s not up for debate, you know I need you here on the ship. Be a good lil’ data kitty and scan the perimeter for me.”
F0-M0: (grumpy meow)
NATHAN: “FZero-MZero! Don’t give me that attitude. This is strictly an intel mission, I’ll be in and out and with you on comms as always.”
F0-M0: (relenting meow)
NATHAN: “There’s ma boy. Love ya lil’ guy. Now you stay outta trouble and Daddy’ll be home in just a tick.”
F0-M0: (anxious loving meow)

An imperial commando villain that is heavily equipped and exceptionally skilled in combat. A proper tank. She fights all the rangers at once and survives. She's tough & militant, brutal and impassioned at times, but not hissing with evil like the Empress.
