Portal: Revolution
Project Overview
Portal: Revolution is a fan-made mod of Portal 2 that tells a whole new and original story in the Portal universe. The story fits into the canon of Portal and Portal 2, but the mod itself is of course not considered canon.
The mod plays between the events of Portal 1 and Portal 2 in the dead and lifeless Aperture Science Enrichment Center. You play as a test subject that is tasked by a personality core to seek a weapon that can destroy GLaDOS. Things don't go quite as planned as you have to face new threats which threaten to destroy the entire facility, or worse.

I'm looking for a composer to create the soundtrack of the mod.
The style I I have in mind is to be similar to Portal 2 but with its own character.
You need to be able to establish common motives throughout the mod. Instrument choice and melodies are used to tie similar areas and themes of the mod together. For example: "smooth" synths for clean, calm test chambers, "hard" synths for behind the scenes and natural instruments for overgrown parts.

You do not need to limit yourself to this style.

In order not to spoil the story of the mod, the description of the character here is kept rather short. You will get more detailed info about the character's goals, thoughts, personality and believes if I see potential in the delivery.
The character should sound rather neutral. No crazy emotions but also not bland. Don't try to speak in an overly robotic voice, just keep it natural and don't post-process the audio please.
As an actor for this role, I expect you to be fully invested in the character. I don't want you to just read the lines you are being sent, but also provide feedback if you think the script doesn't align with the character's personality.
American, British and Australian accents are all welcome!
Test subjects may experience symptons of mental defect after long term hibernation. Protocol requires us to conduct a quick memory exam before continuing. The test is quite simple if you think about it. So here is what you need to do. When I say go, try to remember my talk about mental defects from a minute ago. If you can, please walk through the orange portal in front if you. If you can't, just sit here.

But now that I think about it, it must not be great for you either. I mean, how severe is it? How far does your memory last? Can you even remember what I just said 10 seconds ago? Oh my that'd be weird. Imagine waking up to a voice in the sky telling you to go through a portal but not even knowing why you're here, who you are and how you got here. (sarcastically) That sounds like fun... A life completely unknowing of anything in the world. That's actually how goldfish live (pause) -I think, at least I read it somewhere, I didn't look into that myself, yet. Let me write that down somewhere so I don't forget.- Ha, maybe you should do that too sometimes, you know, so you don't.. forget? Too soon? Fine. Or wait, do you not find it funny because you believe that it is insulting towards people with memory loss, as yourself, or can you not remember the context and are thus unable to form a mental connection to my joke and the thing you forgot and that's why you didn't find it funny? Well I guess you can't answer that can you? So what do we do now? Um, since you don't remember anything from the last 10 seconds, I guess it doesn't even matter? I could just let you sit in this box for eternity and for you it would only feel like you've been here for less than a minute. (*quietly to himself*) Is that ethical? Oh I know, I'll let you decide!
