Like most nuzlockes, the story is mostly a comedy, but it will contain somewhat darker elements after a death of a pokemon. But I do want to avoid keeping this from becoming too 'angsty' or what have you.
After every gym battle, I view it as the series ending an 'arc' and I want to do something special for it... And I decided to compile all the story sections into one big video, and possibly even include a few more scenes as a treat for watching some stuff you've already seen... But that feels kinda empty, doesn't it? It's basically just a re-upload! So I thought... what if I got voice actors? And it sounded like a great idea!
GUIDELINES:
- Decent Microphone: I need minimal background noise and your voice must be decently clear to understand.
- Skype / Email address: Please have one of these so I can contact you.
- Commitment: For some characters, they will appear constantly in this project and will have lines in future videos. Others may have lines later on in the series and will be gone for long periods of time. I will note how often a character will appear. If you choose a returning character, please have a willingness to stay with us. There may be a lot of time between Arcs. Also, understand that you will only voice act with these end-of-arc videos. Voice acting for each episode will make the editing too dependent on others and will cause them to come out less frequently.
- Be Okay with Swearing and the Like: There may be some innuendo and swearing in future parts. I have no plans to over saturate the story sections with them.
- Multiple Roles: Feel free to audition for multiple roles, but please note this:
1) If you audition for multiple major roles, I will most likely only cast you in one because I'd feel bad for giving you a lot of lines. If you have a preference for a certain role, go ahead and say it in the comments! If you don't care what role you get, then just leave that in the comments as well.
2) You can be cast in a major role and in a minor role though, as minor roles tend to have little lines. So I encourage going for those tiny roles as well!
If you are selected, e-mail ([redacted]) or skype (coolx32) me as soon as possible with: the name you want to be credited, a link to ONE social media site (Youtube, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.) that will be in the description of the video. Don't forget to give me your username on this site! Gotta give you credit where credit is due!
(Also, you don't need to follow the series if you don't want to. I can understand if you are driven away from them! I ain't gonna harbor any bad feelings!)
Feel free to experiment to how you want to voice these characters but this project will be taken seriously at various points of the story, so keep that in mind. As long as you can deliver the lines in a way that fits the character then I'm fine with it. I will give further directions in the script though, so keep that in mind.
