Poetry Reading
Project Overview
This is an audio reading for a personal poetry project that I hope to eventually have animated and posted online. The poem deals with themes of gender identity and body dysphoria. The aim is to have the poem read by two voices in unison, mine and yours.
I had an American or English accent in mind for this poem but please autition in your natural accent so I can hear a narration more true to your speaking voice.

It once bore fruit when I was young, Curated for an eager tongue, That wound around in dripping prayer, And ate until the branch lay bare.
The rift started closing, she blinked a goodbye. I tried to blink back, only managed to cry. Then she was gone, and it was just me. Just me, not the ‘she’ that may never be.
For love I consumed - Remains now withered will rebloom. A fungal fragrance fills the air, Miasma thick on branches bare For you I consumed - Hunger ebbs and thought resumes. I growl for more with teeth laid bare, And whimper when you are not there.

It occurred to me that I should also put an Animator role on the project so I can see some of the wonderful animators of CCC!

Payment would be discussed based on your animation rates. While I don't have a whole lot of cash to throw around, I understand how much time and effort goes into animation and would like to ensure I am being as fair as I can be with compensation.
I estimate the runtime for the audio recording being around 2:30, which I know is a hefty project for animation. We may look into the possibility of having a few seconds of animated shots between some keyframe animations that are more fixed like that of an animatic.
