About Pocahontas "Savages" Political Parody - Group Song Cover (Chorus Leader)

WARNING: THIS SONG PARODY WILL BE STRONGLY POLITICAL IN NATURE. THE ALTERED LYRICS WILL INCLUDE TERMS LIKE "SNOWFLAKE" AND "NAZI." THE SONG WILL, HOWEVER, BE AS SFW AS ITS NATURE ALLOWS. (YOU WILL BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO REVIEW THE LYRICS IN FULL BEFORE NEEDING TO ACCEPT OR DECLINE BEING A PART OF THIS PROJECT.)

If you have ANY questions or concerns about this project, please don't hesitate to ask me! :)

Although I use the word "parody", this song is NOT intended as humor!

I am looking for a singer who is at least moderately competent to help me organize the lines of harmonies for the chorus in a political parody of the song "Savages" from Pocahontas. To be clear, this song is NOT meant to promote either the right or left wing over the other. Your role as chorus leader will be to record a "template" for each section of singers to listen to and try their best to match the timing and notes when they record, so that once the whole song is mixed, it's a chorus and not a disaster. ;) This position comes with considerable freedom on your part, because I have very, very limited musical knowledge -- otherwise I would be doing this part myself!

This project WILL be completed and posted. I have already posted 4 other duet & group song covers on my YouTube channel. I follow through on my song projects, so please don't worry about it vaporizing midway through!

Auditions for the other roles will be opened *after* the chorus leader has recorded all templates, so that no one needs to wait to begin recording.

RULES:
1. The deadline for submitting auditions is Sunday, April 8th, 2018 by midnight Central Standard Time. I will NOT cast this role before the deadline. I will make a casting decision no later than Thursday, April 12th.

2. The person chosen will have 1 week to review the lyrics and give me their final answer on accepting or declining the role. After 1 week, if I haven't heard anything I will move to my second choice.

3. Once accepting the role, the Chorus Leader(s) will have 4 weeks to return the recorded templates to me, UNLESS an extension is worked out with me BEFORE the deadline on turning in the recordings. I'm willing to be flexible within reason, but don't want to have this project end up in the swirling vortex of abandoned projects! ;)
